“We drove up from Nebraska to see our son and his family who live in nearby Ronan. The calm and quiet was a great welcome as our son had been in accident and broke his back. So after emotional days, the calmness of the house was welcomed. It is a lovely property close to a beautiful lake.”

“The property is perfect for me and my husband and my 3 brothers and their spouses.This is the third year in a row we've stayed here and it's perfect for our reunion. The kitchen is well equipped for all of our cooking needs and the deck is a great place to enjoy the view of the lake and the beautiful sunset.The house is very clean and decorated beautifully. “When we pulled up to Shady Rest we thought, "okay.." But when we got inside, we were blown away, because for the price of a hotel room we had an entire house!
