“Just book the American Inn in Jackson MN and forget Super 8. It’s terrible, trash, and they stole $100 from us”

“The third floor near the elevators smelled musty, dusty and like maybe hydraulic fluid or something, sickly sweet smelling. Our room was kind of musty smelling and very humid with a very old heat/AC unit didn’t really like the fact that the smoke detector flashed bright red white all night. The curtains really didn’t close properly to blackout the bright lights and between the grass and the two buildings which was our view out our window. The beds are really uncomfortable, and the hairdryer……

“Very well kept hotel, the pool was clean but extremely hot in the room and water was freezing but it was refreshing! Staff was great even brought my 3 kids balloons and little toys! Would definitely recommend a stay if traveling in area!”

“We were early arriving and checked to see about what time we could check in. It was 1030 AM and we fully understood that we would need to return at a later time for check in. There were two cars in the whole parking lot on a Friday. We were told to return after 200 PM and did. (minor annoyance) The desk operation was fine regretfully Room 122 smelled of cigarette smoke and was supposed to be non-smoking. We are Seniors and had plenty of luggage which would require an elevator to move up to the……

“The AmericInn in Sibley, Iowa was the cleanest, most comfortable stay that we have had in Iowa yet. The room was cozy and well maintained and the best part was that it was quiet. No loud, annoying guests who can’t respect others rest time. We will definitely stay there again in the future. The manager/owner and her husband were very friendly and helpful.”

“The staff wonderful and kind. I think the property is in the midst of a remodel, which would explain a lot. The bedding seemed clean and maintained. The bathroom and whirlpool tub did not look as great. There's no showerhead in the bathroom, just an open pipe. Things like the heat/ac keypad were covered in plastic, but it looked more like used plastic wrap than a protective cover. What appears to have been the pool is now a greenhouse with a mountain of garbage in the middle. I just needed a……

“We liked the property as a whole. The owners were really really nice very very helpful and the amenities were a 12 on a scale from one to 10 the only thing that we weren’t able to use was the pool however it did open on the last day that we were there, but we will definitely return to this property in the future. It was very welcoming and we would like to use the other amenities that we’re going to be opening soon so we will see you again. Thank you! The Leeder’s”

“We loved our stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and they kept the coffee coming. The grounds are gorgeous. It was centrally located to the things we wanted to do. We had a lovely experience.”

“You might as well go somewhere cheaper where you can actually use some of the amenities. What’s the point of being the most expensive hotel if you get absolutely nothing for it? I knew there was no breakfast whatever but now they don’t include more than a couple water park passes per room and you have to pay EVERY day now instead of once for the whole stay. Also no more zip line passes either. It’s just an extremely expensive and overrated hotel now. Stay somewhere else with a pool and free……
