61 km north of Rovaniemi, river Raudanjoki 45 m, natural riverside, river is 35 m wide, no boat. Kulpakkokoski rapids 350 m away.

Log cottage, built in 1992. Living room-kitchen sofa bed, bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with 2 single beds, loft with 2 mattresses (loft is low and stairs steep), sauna with wood stove, shower in the steam room, separate toilet and large covered terrace on the river side.

Fish smoking oven in shared use between three cottages. A reasonable amount of firewood is included in price; more firewood can be purchased from the caretaker

Wir waren zum 2.mal in Finnland. Uns gefällt in erster Linie die Ruhe, die man hier genießen kann. Das Haus ist unweit einer Fernstraße gelegen. Zum Fluß sind es nur wenige Meter. Dieser war fast zugefroren. Im Haus ist eine Klimaanlage sowie Kamin vorhanden. Auch in der hauseigenen Sauna kann man entspannen. Diese wird auch mit Holz beheizt, welches vom Vermieter zur verfügung gestellt wird. Es sind Küchengeräte wie Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Herd, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank vorhanden. Waschmaschine gibt es keine. Unweit vom Haus (ca. 7min mit dem Auto) befindet sich eine kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, sowie Tankstelle. Wir haben hier eine sehr entspannte Woche verbracht. Vielen Dank... Wir kommen wieder!!

Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans ce joli chalet. Pour vivre la magie de la Laponie je le recommande à 100%. Chalet en bois avec cheminée. Placé en pleins dans la forêt avec un accès au lac gelée. Nous avons pu apercevoir les aurores boréales du chalet , c’était magnifique. Ambiance très chaleureuse.

Superbe endroit dans un environnement calme et très agréable Un peu loin de Rovaniemi surtout en hiver… 45’ selon Google maps environ 1h en réalité vu l état des routes

Gemütlichkeit am Fluss

Schöne gemütliche und urige Hütte nahe am Fluss. Unkomplizierter check in. Als was man brauchte vorhanden, Sauna und Kamin genutzt. In Nachbarschaft 2 weitere Hütten, kleiner Laden im 8 km Entfernung, Lidl, größere Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Rovaniemi, ca. 60 km. Kleinere Details könnten etwas besser sein, wie die Sauberkeit im Allgemeinen oder die wackelig angebrachte kleine Lampe im Schlafzimmer mit 2 Nägeln. Auch etliche Lebensmittel vor Ort, 6 Packungen Kaffeefilter. Wir buchten mit Endreinigung, Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Gezahlt haben wir für 16 Euro pro Person und erhielten 1 kleines und 1 großes Handtuch, für 9 Tage mit Sauna sehr spärlich. Jedes weitere hätte 4 euro gekostet. Ansonsten haben wir vom Vermieter nichts gehört oder gesehen. Wir hatten das Glück 1x die Nordlichter an der Hütte zu sehen

Polarlichter des Nachts und Rentierbesuch

Olli, unser Host, war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. An- und Abreise sind total unkompliziert organisiert. Man benötigt definitiv einen Leihwagen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Wald, so dass morgens während des Frühstücks ein Rentier an unserem Fenster vorbei spaziert ist. Nachts hat man bei klarem Himmel unten am Fluss wunderschöne grüne Polarlichter gesehen.

Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr locker drauf. Und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wenn irgendwas nicht passt ist er zur Stelle. Das Haus steht an einer sehr schönen Stelle. Von der Straße bekommt man gar nichts mit. Die Anbindung zu Einkaufs Möglichkeiten und Attraktionen. Ist sehr gut. Rundum 5 sterne

Chalet superbe, très confortable et très bien situé : caché dans la forêt, au bord d'une rivière, isolé du monde et en même temps très facile d'accès par la route principale. A mi chemin entre Rovaniemi et la très sympathique station de ski de Luosto et la jolie ville de Sodankyla.
