    Wooden cottage, built 2009, living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed, upstairs bedroom with two beds (120 cm wide), sleeping loft with convertible sofa and 2 mattresses. Balcony. Sauna (electric stove), washroom, toilet, glazed terrace.

A Piece of Lapland Magic

Our 2-night stay at Pyrykieppi was short but absolutely perfect. The cottage was warm, cosy, and so thoughtfully equipped - from the sleds, games, sledge and headlamps to the thermos and little comforts that made everything easy and fun. Those touches made us feel truly cared for. Even in such a short stay, we made memories we'll treasure. And, to top it all off, the northern lights appeared right from the driveway! Perfect!!

Casa fantástica en un sitio precioso.

Hemos pasado 3 noches en esta fantástica casa, dos adultos y un niño a principios de Diciembre. La casa es fantástica, muy bonita y muy bien equipada, tiene de todo, wifi, cuna para peques, sauna... El sitio es precioso, un bosque lleno de nieve, con un lago a pocos metros y mucha tranquilidad. Se encuentra como a 30-35 min de Rovaniemi así q no se tarda mucho en llegar, eso sí, hace falta coche para llegar.

Maison confortable avec de grands fenêtres donnant sur la nature et vue lac. Une cheminée qui a bien été utile, un sauna, le chauffage au sol, la wifi , une belle cuisine et une excellente literie pour un super séjour au milieu de nul part sous la neige et des moins 30 degrés. Loin de Rovaniemi et non loin de l’hôtel de glace pour les activités motoneige, chien traîneau. Une station essence et un commerce à moins de 15 kilomètres. Le top

Erstklassige Unterkunft

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in diesem schönen und komfortablen Haus verbracht – und das in finnischer Winter-Wunderwelt. Wir haben uns stundenlang auf dem gefrorenen See aufgehalten. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist vorbildlich, und das auch in technischer Hinsicht (Fußbodenheizung mit separater Regelung für jeden Raum). Der Kontakt mit A. war effizient und freundlich. Der weite Weg wird uns nicht daran hindern, wieder zu kommen.

Hidden fees

At the time of my booking Vrbo didn't had the correct info on their website and that meant hidden fees for me. It was quite a frustrating surpsrise and left an us anxious about our dream holiday. Avoid Vrbo. The property itself is nice and has a gorgeous location but it is a shame you can't rely on the information. I'll never use Vrbo again.

Fantastic house and location

We stayed for 5 days at this home. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clean and warm we spent lovely evenings together. The location was wonderful- we were lucky and saw the northern lights on the frozen lake opposite. We had some great walks from the house and found some perfect spots for tobogganing. The owners were quick to reply to any questions and were really helpful. About 1/2 hour from Rovaniemi and 15 mins from a supermarket. We definitely recommend it.
