"We deliberately chose a small French village. Chinon about 8200 popn. Less tourists more French culture, but the region is rich in tourist highlights. Our Maison Rouge accom is a medieval building with loads of character, right in the middle of the village. Nathalie was always responsive in comms and to questions. She met us on arrival- very nice and informative. Free car parking (a short walk) really appreciated esp for 2 week stay. The kitchen is a bit tight but met all our needs. Huge lounge and main bedroom. 2nd bedroom a good size to accom our guests during our stay. Highly recommend."
