"The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on the food. It is a very old hotel located in an excellent area. The car park is only a two minute walk from the hotel and easy to find (I phoned prior to my arrival and was given excellent directions by a friendly member of staff). The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but this did not detract from my stay. I would certainly stay again."

"Wonderful Georgian house with original features and tasteful modernisation. Comfortable kingsize bed. Nice bathroom and full kitchen, thoughtful provision of extras, excellent location. Walking distance to high st and pantiles , station etc. Would stay again. Like a studio flat - a hotel room with a kitchen. Ground floor but up steps at the front"
