「The stable was much bigger than the photos show & was veer clean & spacious with everything to hand. The owners Jan & Nick have thought of everything. The garden & woods are lovely, we were lucky to be there with the bluebells in full bloom. Enjoyed seeing all the animals including horses, rabbits, squirrels & lots of different birds. The stars are amazing when the night sky is clear. Lots of places to visit, we went to Rye, Hastings, Canterbury & Bodiam Castle.」

「We not only stayed in a region full of history, the house too was history. Very nice view from the dining, drawing, living room. The weather was not nice, but the house gave us a safe and warm feeling.」

「Great cottage very close to the beach. We didn’t have a car, so the bus into Rye was super easy. Suzy before arrival was super helpful. The cottage had everything we needed. Would stay again.」

「Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

「We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage within the country Park, the cottage is incredibly well equipped in the kitchen , the views are amazing, all the way along the coast, Pett levels, Rye, Camber sands, Dungeness and in one particularly clear night France! Karen responded to queries immediately and was an excellent host. I certainly recommend this cottage.」

「Directions to property were easy to follow. Eugene made himself known to.us ensuring we had everything we required. House was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. My 6 ft 4 sons found the low bedroom ceilings challenging. However we were aware of this before we rented the property. Would not hesitate to recommend for a peaceful retreat. 「The flat was in a great location and Martyn the host was very helpful. It’s a large, light and airy space with 2 good sized bedrooms and a huge lounge/diner (though we tended to eat in the kitchen). The decor is very neutral & everywhere is very clean. We would definitely stay again.」

「We had a great stay and really enjoyed the tennis court and the main living space at Hollyoak Sanctuary. The weather didnt cooperate so we didnt use the outside space as much as we wanted to but it was fabulous and would be great in better weather. The property manager was very receptive in answering questions and was flexible meeting our requests. Kitchen well equipped and bedrooms were great. Very dog friendly which we loved and a nice circular walk straight from the drive or back garden...
