"Cadre agréable et calme mais la maison a un grand besoin de travaux et d'aménagement neuf. L'une des salles de bain est obsolète ( douche qui fuit dans toute la pièce et meuble vasque désoclé), l'eau était brulante à la douche et peu réglable et les WC de l'étage a un mauvais débit. Meubles et lits anciens, beaucoup de vaisselle et accessoires de cuisine où on s'y perd ! L'entourage de la piscine est dangereux puisque les dalles ont beaucoup bougé et la propriétaire ne retire pas les pointes...

"We enjoyed staying one week in June '25 in Royan. The house is very well maintained and largely equipped; 2 good and large beds supported our dreams. Sun and (a small) rain protection is provided on the terrace and one can easily enjoy staying outside. Supermarket)s), bakery and restaurants are situated nearby, even quite well reachable by bike or by feet. We have had an excellent communication with the owner and a superbe contact with the neighbors. Thank you all again for hosting us."

"location tres propre et tres bien équipée, mais nous avons passé notre sejour avec la porte de l’entree qui nous restait dans les mains . L’annonce presente une villa qui en fait n’est qu’un gite au rez de chaussée ( sans preciser qu’il y a des locataires) a l’etage. Et tres peu de communication avec la propriétaire, qui ´a juste appele a notre arrivée pour me preciser que Abritel s’était trompé dans l’annonce et que je devais regler la consommation d’électricité en plus de la facture...

CERISE Royan - Le Grand Hôtel de la Plage

"Hotel is a great location right on the beach. The hotel itself has an old world charm to it and has more character than some modern chain hotels. Maybe a little dated in places, but clean and has everything you’d need or expect. Parking is an underground car park not suited to any slightly taller/larger cars and certainly not our van. There is however free parking on street within very easy walking distance. "

"Stayed overnight in one of the suites, paid a holding deposit of 100 Euros on a debit card. On checkout we settled the bill in full and told the holding deposit wiuld be redunded in the next 7 days. This never happened even after sending 5 emails, direct to the hotel and through this app! I had to get my card issuer involved to resolve this a month on. For this reason I cannot recommend thos hotel."
