“The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! “The kitchen was not very well eqipped.....no glasses, only 1 dinner plate,however,very clean.
The extra wide bed was supremely comfortable linen and towels were high quality, soft and comfortable. Very clean throughout. Food was well presented and delicious. We loved the combination of modern and rustic. The outdoor area well maintaned and very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful.

My only criticism is the booking process guidelines are not clear and the online system needs improvement. It was not made clear that we would not receive the email with access instructions until the security process was completed and the deposit paid.
