We totally enjoyed this property. It was immaculate, and had a good supply of everything we could possibly need. The bedrooms, kitchen, and living room are tastefully decorated and welcoming. Dola and John put a lot of thought into this property.The lake views are fantastic from windows and a lovely partly covered elevated deck/porch area. We enjoyed meals on the deck/porch sitting at a table, relaxing on the teak sofa and chairs or enjoying a pair of rattan cushioned chairs. One of the “over the top” assets here is the dock, deck, chairs and kayak use (with several sized life jackets)right at lake level. Being on the water was wonderful. This area was peaceful with the lake and woods surrounding it. A side comment includes: there are a ton of steps/stairs going down to the lake. The steps, and surrounding area are landscaped well with lovely stone work…which is nice to view on the multiple steps up or down. (The climbing up was a work-out!) Once at the lake, it was awesome to sit back in the sun, or under the shade sail taking in the views… after visits to wineries on Canandaigua, and Keuka Lake.We had a great week here. We’d like to return again.

We had a perfect week of very hot weather. The place was immaculately clean and all well organized. Check in was easy , kitchen was very user friendly. So nice to sit on the huge wrap around deck and have enjoy the view of the lake. Definitely recommend !

This place is amazing!

Long weekend in FLX

We were in town for a family wedding and this was a much better option than staying in a hotel. It is very peaceful and quiet here. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 and a beautiful view of the lake.

Outstanding lake view

This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed--just impeccably clean. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable with lots of room. The steps down to the beach are beautifully designed and a feature all on their own. But the reason to come here is the large dock and the lake--beautiful views out the living room sliding doors and just a stunning place to sit on the dock and watch the waves and the ducks go by. Would go back in a second! But bring charcoal--there is a grill but it needs charcoal and it's not provided. Hopefully the listing has been corrected to mention that. No matter--we had a lovely time and so will you!

Great place

We didnt want for anything. The owners have thoughtfully had everything we could want or need. It was like being at home. The lake was awesome and the views and sunsets are beautiful.

Great views and a nice pier

The guest house has beautiful lake views! The pier is down a long set of stairs directly on the water and allows for swimming and kayaking in the lake.

Nice vacation spot

Enjoyable family stay

Beautiful Lake Canandaigua!

Gorgeous property and great living space with everything you need. We loved every minute of our stay. We relaxed and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and beautiful sunsets while having a glass of wine. The access to the dock, kayak and SUP was so cool. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We loved the quiet side of the lake and enjoyed exploring the wineries. We will be back!

Our week vacation

The property is clean and well kept, a beautiful 2 bedroom 1bath home, one car garage, great kitchen with everything you need to cook and with a great view of the Canandaigua Lake. 20 minutes away from the city of Canandaigua, Napoles, golfing, wineries, breweries and restaurants. We had a great week did some fishing off the new large pier they just had built. Great location, Great views and sunsets. Although many steps to climb between the house and the deck on the water. If your in decent shape no problem.

Relaxing and comfortable stay! Beautiful view!!!

This was the second time we stayed at this property. It was as clean, comfortable, and accommodating as the previous time we stayed. The homeowners are very communicative and attentive; they even left us a holiday gift upon arriving. Parking and unloading our car in the rental's garage (connected to the home) in the cold winter made things much easier. The house was clean and the homeowners have everything available to make our stay comfortable. Winter views of the lake were beautiful and the in-house laundry area worked out great! Don't hesitate to book this property!

Was really paradise on the lake

first walk in the door and what a view of the lake! Property owners called to make sure we were comfortable, answer any questions and tell of area things to do. But with all at the house - the fire pit and kayaks at their beach area, did not really need to go anywhere. But we did go to several excellent wineries, antique shops and even rented a pontoon boat for a day. It was a wonderful week!

A convenient jumping off spot for touring

My wife, daughter, and I sought a convenient home base for visiting the major state parks Letchworth and Watkins Glen; the must-see Corning Glass Museum; and, my wife’s family homestead located due east of Rochester. We also sought a place where, after a day of driving in the hot summer sun up and down the hills that are the primary topographical feature of the region, we could refresh ourselves in the clear, cooling waters of one of the signature Finger Lakes. The rental served our needs well in this regard. Further, the rental lies beyond the main commercial areas and marinas, making for a quiet, peaceful stay. A family of three or four will find plenty of space to enjoy their stay. The house is well laid out and offers beautiful views of the water. The place comes fully stocked for those who choose to prepare home-cooked meals. The house was thoroughly cleaned for our arrival. All the systems were in good condition and in working order. The hosts were gracious and attentive. Our daughter, nine years old, enjoyed trying her hard at fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking with the equipment available on site. One caveat: people with mobility challenges will struggle with the steps. The house lies on a steep hillside above the lake.

Beautiful Property - Wonderful Hosts

Stayed at this home for a month while waiting for our home to close. It was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the hosts were kind and friendly. The home overlooks the lake and it has a fantastic dock that was great for sitting out and enjoying a glass of wine and watching the sun set. I would definitely recommend this home to everyone!

Relaxing family getaway

We loved our stay at the guest house! The location feels private and remote, but is just a 15 minute drive to Canandaigua and Naples. There were a lot of good hiking trails nearby, and we were just a short drive away from many wineries. The house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. Dola and John are friendly and thoughtful hosts. We’d definitely come back!

Dazzling lakefront home with big-time comfort

We loved staying in this Canandaigua home! The interior was clean, modern, roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with a desk in the corner, big bathroom and bedrooms, and a huge deck overlooking the lake. Great beach and dock for swimming, reading, and sunsets. A totally lovely, peaceful place to enjoy all that the Finger Lakes has to offer!

Beautiful location; great hosts

We loved our stay. The views are breathtaking, you are within driving distance of lots of hiking and restaurants and the home was very clean. John and Dola were great hosts. They quickly answered questions but also gave us privacy. I would note there are a lot of stairs to the lake. The views are beautiful at each level.

Relaxing and Fun Stay!

This property was perfect for our family and we were very impressed with how clean everything was. We also really appreciated the kayak's and paddle board and the lake views are spectacular.
