“We had a family gathering from 82-8 years of age. Great spaces to accommodate every person. Loved the screened in porch which was comfortable so we spent a lot of time there. We rented the boat and enjoyed exploring and riding on the lake. Great food at the Lure House Restaurant which has boat docking. The younger family members spent a lot of time in the water, which was the clearest I’ve seen Lake Lure water. Bruce answered all of our questions plus gave excellent info for check in and being……

“Accommodation was as described. Used as a base station for 3 preplanned day hikes in the area. The hot tub was very enjoyable after completing each hike. Only negative was that most of the nice places to eat were a 10-15 minute ride from the location.”

Nice view and outdoor space, very clean and spacious inside, and every amenity was taken care of - from coffee, to bed linens, to shampoo/conditioner, to beach towels, to laundry detergent, to pots and pans. We had a bit of an issue with an A/C malfunction but the owner was responsive and got it resolved.”
