SEA VIEW VILLA + OVERFLOW POOL

The villa is located in a green setting with a panoramic sea view, ideal for two couples or a family. An infinity pool that is one with the sea is its strong point.
It consists of an indoor living room and covered outdoor dining room. Two air-conditioned bedrooms and their private bathroom. American kitchen with terrace and sea view.
Terrace not overlooked, covered for meals, in the sun to sip a ti punch on the deckchairs after a dip in the pool. The villa is equipped with television, canal +, internet, washing machine, dishwashing machine, coffee pod machine, oven and microwave, iron, barbecue, vacuum cleaner.
Sheets and towels provided.

Exceptional place, natural settings, vision of postcard in a small corner of paradise for a rest and a total change of scenery guaranteed. At the edge of the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe and an authentic small West Indian village where local shops and pretty "tables" will be able to simply discover the Creole pleasures.
A paradise for divers, fishermen, lovers of lush nature, these waterfalls and unusual strolls, will leave you and those who love lazing around with an unforgettable memory. In addition for the anecdote the famous television series "murder in Paradise" was filmed in the town of Deshaies and more particularly on the site of the villa.
For vacationers who want an unforgettable experience a motor catamaran with skipper can be rented. A stay can combine villa and boat.

Beautiful outdoor space with view

We enjoyed the lovely view, infinity pool and the large outdoor space with a variety of dining and seating/lounge areas. I would not recommend this rental for 2 couples. The indoor space is very small and the kitchen only big enough for one person at a time. The design of the bathroom for the second bedroom is awkward since only the shower is en suite & the toilet is accessed from the kitchen - not ideal! There was no BBQ which was a disappointment as it was mentioned in the description when we made the booking, That made cooking even more challenging with the very small kitchen. Overall it wasn’t the best equipped rental we’ve stayed in (kitchen utensils, etc) but it was fine for just us & we loved the outdoor space. Indoors was nicely decorated but could use a little refresh/maintenance it’s looking very worn.

Très belle villa avec vu à couper le souffle!

Très belle et grande villa et que dire de la vue…tout simplement incroyable! Très bien situé, à 2 minutes en voiture du village et des restos! La piscine à débordement devant l’océan et les montagne est magnifique! S’il faut que je trouve des points négatifs, les matelats sont très très ferme et il y a quelques petite réparation à faire ici et là mais sans plus! Allez-y sans hésitation!

Das Objekt entspricht den Bildern die bei der Buchung zu sehen waren. Der Ausblick nach draußen in die Bucht von Deshaies ist ein Traum. Die Beschreibung des Objektes ist absolut korrekt. Das einzige was etwas verwirrend ist, ist die Tatsache das es zwei Bäder gibt aber nur eine Toilette. Das zweite kleinere Bad ist tatsächlich sehr klein, ist aber technisch einwandfrei. Da wir nur zu zweit angereist sind, war dies für uns auch nicht von Relevanz. Bei zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern / Jugendlichen sollte das gut funktionieren. Die gastgeberein war stets gut erreichbar. Da wir selber kein Französisch sprechen, lief die gesamte Kommunikation per E-Mail ab. (Google Übersetzer ist hier sehr hilfreich). Alles in allem War es ein Wunderbarer Urlaub, der unseren Erwartungen absolut gerecht wurde.

We stayed at the villa in early July 2022. Martine met us at the villa and showed us around, explaining how everything worked. The villa and the view was beautiful. An unexpected surprise were all the local birds (not a worry as they were tiny and beautiful). They were very familiar with the kitchen and trying to find food scraps from the kids! We enjoyed multiple swims in the pool just gazing at the ocean. The temperature was perfect. The one small issue we had was our kids had a bad reaction to the pool water, with a rash developing all over. Perhaps it had just been shocked with chlorine? It would not stop us from returning though, it was still a wonderful and relaxing week. The location makes you feel right in the rainforest with beautiful plants surrounding you. The drive up is on small and curvy roads, which tested my partners ability to do hill starts using a gear shift! The only thing that would have made it better would perhaps be a ceiling fan in the outdoor areas and mosquito nets in both bedrooms (there was only one in the kids room). Overall the holiday made us want to return again every summer.

Spectacular view and peaceful surroundings

Martine was super helpful and very welcoming, we found the property to be clean and well equipped. The infinity pool is superb and the decor is very inviting. We would recommend and definitely come back again.

UNE LOCALISATION EXCEPTIONNELLE

Notre séjour fut exceptionnel et malgré les restrictions (pas de restaurants limitation des 5 kms) nous avons très bien profité de l'environnement, la maison est confortable et sa situation géographique est magique. Si je peux me permettre je mentionnerais que les matelas des transats sont vieillissant et le matelas du lit serait à changer mais sinon on y reviendra avec grand plaisir. La propriétaire était à l'écoute et n'a pas hésité à savoir si tout se passait bien pour nous malgré ses vacances en métropole.

Amazing Villa with a View that will “knock your socks off”!

My wife and I spent two weeks in Martine’s villa in Deshais. The villa is even better than the photos can describe. The furnishings and the accessories are superb One is able to cook because she has provided all the essentials including a good oven and cooktop. She even has a dishwasher. Wine glasses and table settings are also well chosen. Design and decor are well appointed. The infinity pool with the view is quite spectacular. We found the best approach to travelling in this area was “ less is more” ! Don’t spend a lot of time driving around the island .The beaches in the area i.e Leroux Cluny and the Grande Anse will satisfy any beach lover. There are some nice restaurants in town including Mahina [ amazing wood oven pizzas] Rayon Verte and also L’Olentik. Martine is very responsive to your needs but also very discreet in ensuring you enjoy her little Shanghra-la. We cleaned out a lot of personal cobwebs by spending time contemplating the World while watching the Caribbean sea from our balcony. Highly recommended!

Ein Urlaubserlebnis der besonders schönen Art!

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern für 6 Nächte im Haus von Martine. Es liegt wunderbar ruhig mit einem fantastischen Blick auf die Bucht von Deshaies. Von der Terrasse kann man die tollen Sonnenuntergänge mit einem schönen Aperitiv genießen. Das Haus selbst ist sehr gepflegt, verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Bädern. Die moderne Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Wir haben diese allerdings nur einmal benutzt da es im direktem Umfeld zahlreiche sehr gute Restaurants gibt. Martine ist eine bezaubernde Gastgeberin, hat sich um alles gekümmert und antwortet auf Mails und Anrufe sofort. Insgesamt eine wundervolle Urlaubserfahrung mit absolut verdienter voller Punktzahl. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung ohne wenn und aber!

Entspannung und karibisches Feeling pur

Wir (2 Ehepaare) haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war sehr komfortabel und komplett ausgestattet. Die Aussicht ist einfach fantastisch! Eigentlich wollten wir nicht mehr nach Hause gehen. Vielen Dank an Martine für diesen schönen Urlaub. Am liebsten morgen wieder.
