An amazing climb up the glacier with views to mont blanc, we began at sunrise to get to the train then headed up before any snow could melt too much. (August)
On the way from Monte Moro 2,985 m (Italy) to Saas Fee 1,798 m (Swiss). On the way there is beautiful Mattmark Lake - Surface elevation: 2,197 m, Area: 176 ha, Length: 3.2 km, turquoise water color is do to glacier rivers, lake is connected with bus to Saas, very pleasant easy walk around this lake with unreal view and plenty glaciers rivers is really worth to visit. Nice small restaurant on the other side of lake serve nice cold beer too.
