「Excellent」

「The Capra Saas-Fee is a beautiful 5-star hotel, but for us it simply didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the price. The hotel itself is lovely, but the service didn’t feel particularly personalised or attentive. We even had to ask three times for our cable car passes. First, they had the wrong email address despite us providing it at check-in; then, even after correcting it, nothing came through. We ultimately had to insist on having the passes printed so we could actually use...

「Beautiful, quiet setting. Wonderful staff that helped answer our questions. Parking was included which was a great bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and we chose to have available delivery for breakfast . All was to the highest standards. The bed was comfortable and our room had black and blinds making it easy to get a great night's rest. Great views too. There are several markets within walking distance. Not to mention a nice trail to walk. We will return.」

「The most important thing to note is the limited hours of the front desk (10am to 6pm in the summer). This is an issue if you might arrive late or want to leave your bags in the morning after checking out. The hotel is absolutely serious about wanting you to contact them before you arrive to confirm your arrival time although the email they sent to me had no return email address. The bed (although not the pillows) was comfortable and the hot water and wifi both worked well. In-room safe was...

「All was good!」

「Thankfully this wasn’t my first trip to Saas-Fee or I’d never go back… I’ve been going for more than 10 years and we have a place in the village but needed somewhere bigger to accommodate family. Topline… the place is well past its sell by date and the interaction with the hosts - Saas Holidays - wasn’t great. On arrival we had our apartment number on our booking and told the concierge on the phone. He said that he didn’t have the booking reference so as long as we had the number on our...

「All v good , 1 minute walk out from train station , next to 511 bus stop to Saas fee too...so convenient and can catch last minute for the bus ride...」
