“Great place to stay super relaxing”

“My husband, Son and Grandson stayed for a short fishing trip. They all loved the little house very much. Close to the boat ramp, very clean and all the amenities you need for a few days. Will book again for sure! Than you Tonja for sharing your little house!”

“My husband, son's girlfriend and I stayed in The Nest when our son was in town playing baseball against Lamar University. This house was a great alternative to a hotel. It was cute, clean and well stocked. The owner had great communication and left some special touches in the home for us. The only negative is the size of the beds if you have more than 2 adults. I bought a $30 air mattress and took sheets from home. That worked fine for us. I recommend this house if you are going to be visiting……

“Nice place. Great location. The pool needed some attention but it was cloudy and raining the last 2 days we were there, so I didn't make a fuss about it. Overall the kid's loved the place and we had a great stay.”

“The home was great! Well taken care of. Plenty of room for our party. Good neighborhood. Only downside was communication with owner. Reached out a few times via VRBO msg, phone calls, and text msgs; only connected once with owner. The one time we connected I was able to get info needed for arrival and departure. I have recommended this property to friends and family already. We would stay again.”

“Having gorwn up in the area, literally about one mile away, and spent a large amount of time in the area of this rental, it was exactly what we expected. It was clean and decorated well. It had everything we needed for our brief stay. I wanted to address the previous comments about the water. There is just a slight tint of iron in the water I am sure it is the result of older piping, or possibly the supply. I am not certain but they may not be on municipal water. Regardless, it is perfectly……

The location of this property is perfect. We were within minutes of anything and everything. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying with Cherrelle again on our return to this area.”

“The pictures made it seem that it was a beautiful place. The sliding doors did not have any handles, tissue was placed because where the handles are supposed to be it was exposed to the outdoors. The place was not clean and up to par. No oven, but it was a countertop oven that we used. The bugs were ridiculous, they were coming in from the outside through the cracks .”
