"Very new, clean, and modern, but important to note it's not in the city center. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the exception of Jean. Our train from Paris was cancelled and so we needed to reduce our nights stayed, and he was very unhelpful and rigid despite Hotels.com contacting him and offering to reverse all charges/commissions."

The garden area was lovely and a peaceful space to relax and have our meals. Very close walking to Saint-Emilion. Very well appointed. Comfortable beds. We would stay again if we return to the area. "Beautiful chateaux - and excellent location in terms of proximity to Saint Emilion. Rooms were great and staff were extremely helpful. Big call out to Veren in the restaurant and wine bar - very attentive, funny and a great ambassador. One suggestion would be for the hotel to run a shuttle bus to Bordeaux a couple of time a day - either free or for a charge - Uber was about €120 into the city albeit much cheaper coming back - would be a nice touch if the hotel wanted to consider it. Overall a fantastic stay - thank you and would recommend it without hesitation (check out the frogs in the lake too - a real frog chorus!)"
