Peaceful location, excellent for coastal cycle routes. Lovely hosts

Compact and comfortable. Well fitted out and storage for our bikes. Michel and Paulette are great hosts, made us very welcome and provided help with local maps and attractions. This GÎTE in their garden is very quiet and peaceful, only 5 min walk to the coast and about 20 mins into town. For us, the attraction was the convenience of the Vendee cycle ways which are minutes away and are great ways to explore north and south of St Gilles on flat firm surfaces. We had a very enjoyable stay and like this part of the Vendee.

Eine erholsame Woche an der Atlantikküste

Schöne und sehr ruhige Lage im abgetrennten Teil des Gartens eines Einfamilienhauses. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich bei allen Fragen. Das Häuschen mit schöner eigener Terrasse im Garten ist sehr klein, vor allem das Bett gewöhnungsbedürftig schmal. Mit dem Fahrrad lassen sich der Ort und die Umgebung prima erkunden, die nahen Strände sind allerdings sehr von Ebbe und Flut abhängig. Aber auch zu den immer wasserführenden Stränden ist es nicht weit. Wir haben unseŕen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Séjour parfait

Très belle et très propre petite maison, bien située près de la plage, et proche du centre et des commerces. Jardin superbement entretenu, très reposant. Très bon accueil de M. Et Mme Guillé qui ont été adorables et très réactifs. 5/5 nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Un petit gîte cosy à proximité de la mer et du centre ville. Sa terrasse donnant sur un beau jardin en fait un lieu parfait pour se détendre. Et en plus on est très bien accueillis ! Merci aux gentils propriétaires.

Well equipped Gite in a lovely location.

A perfect gite for a couple if you want peace and quiet. Situated 5 minutes from the coast. The gite is well equipped and is very clean and tidy. St Gilles is a wonderful place for a holiday. Michel and Paulette are extremely welcoming, without being intrusive. They go out of their way to make sure your holiday goes smoothly. We appreciated that very much.

We had a great time here, excellent beaches nearby and hosts very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy parking, cycle storage and peace and quiet. Perfect for what we needed.

Small but comfortable and perfectly located

This gite is exactly as it is advertised. It is very close to one of St Gilles beaches and the town. The owners were welcoming and very keen for us to have everything we needed to have a good holiday. We have struggled in the past to find a gite that has everything we want - location, privacy, quiet, comfortable, well appointed but Gites des Fluches has changed our minds. We would have liked a washing machine but managed perfectly well washing clothes by hand. We wholeheartedly recommend this gite to anyone wanting a relaxing break within walking / cycling distance of all amenities. Thank you Michel and Paulette.
