“We had a wonderful stay at Ferme de la Rançonnière and would absolutely recommend it. The property is beautiful, full of history, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Normandy landing beaches while still enjoying a quiet countryside setting. Breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant was also very good. The only minor drawback was that the playground could use some……

“Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

“We stayed one night at the chateau in July as a family of 5, including three teens. The property exterior is beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Our unit was a 2-bed, 2-bath. Unfortunately the hotel did not tell us ahead of time that the upstairs bath was out of order. Or offer any type of reimbursement. We paid almost $700 for the night. The main floor of the unit did have a mini split a/c, however, the upstairs attic bedroom did not. It was so hot, easily 20 degrees warmer, that our boys……

“The property and rooms were lovely. There was a front and back gate with an access code for the back gate. Maria was lovely and very accommodating. It was that small personal touch that made a difference. Breakfast was absolutely perfect and the bar allowed you to share a drink with other guests. We would definitely stay again and wish we could have stayed a little longer.”

“Sheets Not clean, no elevator. It’s not worth for the price I paid. ”
