Het Domaine ziet er geweldig verzorgt uit en Wendy en Joel zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. Wendy gaf ons heel veel bruikbare tips voor bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. En onze hond was erg welkom, werd dikke vrienden met Joel vanwege de snoepjes die hij gaat steeds gaf. Het huisje was oké. Als het mooi weer is verblijf je toch vooral buiten. Het oude brocante bed (2 matrassen met 7 cm ertussen) en de dekbedden hebben wat ons betreft aandacht nodig. Vinden wij een zeer belangrijk onderdeel van het verblijf en dat was helaas echt matig. Wel een heerlijke tijd gehad.

Een heel prettig huis en verblijf! Alles is aanwezig en het huis blijft koel (zelfs boven 40 graden). Mooie, rustige omgeving voor leuke uitstapjes, mooi wandelen en heerlijk rustig slapen. Wendy en Maarten koken een lekkere “table d’hôte”, geven goede tips en laten je je eigen gang gaan als je dat wilt. Er zijn drie huisjes op het terrein, je hebt een eigen terras en daaromheen is een grote gezamenlijke tuin. Veel ruimte en ook onze fietsen konden veilig in de garage staan. Een aanrader!

Geweldige sfeervolle locatie in rustige omgeving. Wendy en Maarten hebben de locatie prachtig verbouwd en in de grote omheinde tuin is er altijd een gerieflijk plekje te vinden ( zon of schaduw) Als het in hun programma past willen ze zelfs je hond even uit laten zodat je wat langer op pad kunt. Mooie rustige omgeving, kunt ietsen en wandelen, voor vertier moet je wel even stukje rijden, . Kortom aanrader!

We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaars, niets was ze te veel en we konden met al onze vragen bij hun terecht. Onze hond heeft de tijd van zijn leven gehad met de grote tuin en het wandelpad voor de deur waarbij we langs paarden kwamen en een aantal keer een ree hebben gezien.

Een leuk uitziend vakantiehuisje met een enorme tuin er omheen. Genoeg speelgelegenheid voor jonge kinderen en hond. Bos en landerijen aan de overkant waar je zeker een uur kunt rond wandelen en hardlopen tussen de boeren gewassen. Een echt plattelandsdorp. Veel rust en geen geluiden, je hoort slechts af en toe een waakhond. De autoweg naast de tuin is erg rustig. Je kunt veilig op en naast de autoweg (hard)lopen, ook met een hond. Fietsen is ook mogelijk in de omgeving. Vriendelijke buren waarvan er minstens eentje ook engels verstaat en spreekt. 's Avonds kun je in de tuin barbecuen voor wie daar van houdt. Voor mensen die rust zoeken in een mooie omgeving is dit zeker aan te bevelen.

In het dorp zelf valt niet veel te beleven, maar we hebben wel leuke uitstapjes gedaan in de ruime omgeving (Poitiers, Chinon, Saumur,...). Het huis heeft een leuke tuin maar binnenin was het niet wat we verwacht hadden. Vooral de netheid liet te wensen over het oude en stoffige meubilair hing onder het stof. Er waren ook geen comfortabele tuinmeubelen aanwezig.

Het middenin de zomer voor ons en voor onze Guus heerlijk koel bleef. Alles was er dat we nodig hadden, gezellig ingericht en honden kunnen geen kwaad. De eigenaren zijn grote hondenliefhebbers. Zij hebben zelf een hond en er was voor onze Guus altijd even tijd voor een knuffel en een 'praatje'. En ook voor ons :) Ideaal dat de tuin helemaal rondom is afgesloten, onze nieuwsgierige Guus ging graag op onderzoek uit, fijn idee dat hij het terrein niet af kon. Veel schaduwplekjes onder de bomen. Zelfs een douche om af te koelen!

We werden erg hartelijk ontvangen. De accommodatie is in een woord geweldig rustiek, authentiek en landelijk gelegen. Het huis ligt in een zeer rustige omgeving aan de rand van het dorpje.
