This charming home with its wooden beams will be ideal to enjoy the company of friends or family. You will be charmed by its authenticity together with its high standard of modern comfort.
The house of 250 m² built in 18 century Périgord style, very friendly, quality design and relaxing. Ideally located between Dodogne Vallée (Sarlat) and Lot Vallée (Rocamadour).
This house is in a quiet area, close to the Dordogne River and Dordogne Valey.
The shops and the town center is at 10 km distance. Large windows allow you to discover the garden side of 1 hectare of parkland with wonderfull view over the Dordogne Valey, the pool 4m x 9m secured by an alarm ( heated from April to October ) , terraces (sun or indoor) allow true relaxation for parents and good facilities for the whole family. Private and closed parking (for 2 cars) and outside parking. Beautiful decoration. Through lounge of 52 m², kitchen-dining room 31 m² (cuisinière large volume, fridge, freezer, washing machine),
3 Bedrooms with Air Conditionning from 20 / 25/18 m² (large bed 10/200or double beds 2x90x200), 2 bathrooms with , showery, 3 separate toilets. Laundry in the basement.

Un acceuil au top ! Accepte les animaux de compagnie. Propriétaire était au petit soins pour nous. Du bois pour la cheminée nous avait été préparé comme demandé. Logement spacieux, très bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Terrain et vue avec magnifique couché de soleil !

We loved the property's style, the beautiful grounds and the pool.The accommodation was well equipped and charmingly decorated. The dog proof enclosed front garden was an asset and the sunsets from the rear of the property were beautiful. Walking distance from the local village in 15 minutes, gorgeous local countryside and good access to Beynac, Sarlat, Domme, Brive and Rocamador. Souillac for all shopping newds a 15 minute drive. Add a charming host who was so welcoming and we couldn't recommend more highly.We will be back!

What a great place!

We had a wonderful time in this comfortable, well -equipped property. Sitting in the beautiful shade of the trees, dipping in the pool, meals on the terrace… couldn’t have been nicer. We loved the area too, found a sandy beach near a lake 5 minutes away for the toddler. Went to the parc zoologic not far away .. Really lovely countryside all around. Wonderful stay in a great location

Frank Clayson 18 May 2024 It is little wonder that this property and owner get such excellent reviews. The house and garden provide everything that one could wish for when looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a location which provides such wonderful views across uninterrupted countryside. The lack of parasols around the swimming pool encourages you to take refuge in the shade of the many trees in the garden and to sit relaxing under them with the many different views over the open countryside was one of the real joys of my holiday. We enjoyed three glorious weeks in late May and early June relaxing and touring the Dordogne, with all the major towns and sights within 30 minutes or so driving. The house and and facilities are first class and excellent and reasonably priced restaurants are close by, with a major Leclerc Supermarket in Souillac. But for us a really big factor to what turned into an exceptional holiday was the presence of the owner, Philippe Baddiel. As mentioned by a previous guest we did not see much of him, he popped in from time to time to check all was well, always courteous and respectful of our privacy. Any issues that we may have had were resolved promptly and with minimum fuss. I believe it is Philippe’s consistent good humour and genuine desire to ensure that his guests have everything they need to have the most enjoyable of holidays which keeps his guests returning year after year, which is hopefully what we will be able to do next year.

Idyllic, total relaxation

We simply adored our stay at ‘Andreuilles’. We loved the house and especially the garden. We could never tire of the view. The house had everything that we needed and we were very grateful for the air conditioning! Philippe kept the grounds and pool immaculate. The location in the little hamlet of Nadaillac de rouge was peaceful and exactly what we wanted. We will be back next year.

Peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful stay - the house was perfect for us. Peaceful with lots of outdoor space and a great pool. The house is well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for a stay away from home. Philippe was very welcoming and helpful. Magnifique maison dans son écrin de verdure! Philippe nous a accueilli de façon très chaleureuse et a répondu à toutes nos demandes très rapidement. Maison spacieuse, bien équipée et cadre sublime, à proximité de superbes sites et environnement très calme! Idéal en famille et avec un petit bébé. toutes les commodités à moins de 15 minutes et tous les sites à moins de 30 minutes, restaurant à 3 minutes. Nous y avons passé un séjour fabuleux et nous recommandons fortement! Beautiful house in its green setting! Philippe gave us a very warm welcome and responded to all our requests very quickly. Spacious house, well equipped, sublime setting, close to superb sites and very quiet environment! Ideal for a family and with a small baby. All amenities within 15 minutes and all sites within 30 minutes, restaurant 3 minutes away. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend!

A nice property for us

Amazing views from the property, very quiet area with good access to amenities in Souillac. This is a lovely area of France, lots of villages & chateaus nearby to visit and only 10mins to the Dordogne river. The house itself is large and has everything you need, we did have some issues with the outside space during our stay which were a concern due to having young children & babies in our group, we were in regular contact with Phillipe during the start of our stay to try to resolve these. Great property if you are looking for a good base for exploring the area.

Toller Ort für unseren Familienurlaub

Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche in und um das sehr ruhig gelegene Haus. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett und unkompliziert und der verbindlich. Bei sommerlichem Wetter konnten wir vor allem mit den Kindern den Garten und Pool gut nutzen, saßen viel draußen. Die Ausrüstung der Küche war top, konnten uns sehr gut bekochen und auch draußen grillen. Einkäufe haben wir in Souillac organisiert. Prima Lage für verschiedene Ausflüge in die Umgebung mit dem Auto (Chateau marquessac, sarlat la caneda, grottes de lacave, Chateau castelnaud) jeweils ca. 30min Fahrzeit entfernt. Wir hatten wiegesagt eine tolle Woche und das Haus (+Poolhaus) boten ausreichend Platz für den Mehrgenerationenurlaub! Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man auch die Ruhe der Natur schätzt!

Propriété de charme, très agréable à vivre. Fraîche malgré les températures et clim bien appréciable dans les chambres. Vaste jardin, avec une belle vue. piscine chauffée très appréciée par les enfants. Maison assez isolée, à la campagne, mais c est ce que nous recherchions. La maison dispose d’une vue magnifique sur la campagne qui permet d’admirer des couchés de soleil sublimes. Elle est très facile et agréable à vivre. Les salles de bain sont spacieuses et lumineuses et les chambres dans un esprit campagne chic, sont charmantes. La literie est fantastique. Manger sur les terrasses d’un côté ou de l’autre de la maison en fonction du soleil est fort appréciable.

Great property with potential for improvement

It is a large comfortable house on a nice property, with beautiful views, quiet and secluded. Since we did not find the house right away (the GPS coordinates in the directions contained in a link to Google and Apple Maps given by Fewo-Direkt were wrong), the contact person, whose phone number the owner had forwarded to us, kindly picked us up in the neighboring village and showed us the way. We are grateful for that. We enjoyed the pool and the garden and especially on cooler evenings the large dining and living area. As we often cooked, we appreciated that the kitchen is well equipped. The house and the remise would benefit from better and thorough cleaning, a replacement of defect lights, the moldy shower curtains and the uncomfortable plastic chairs on the backyard terrace (the photo on the website shows different furniture) . And we had to live with little "roommates"; so one should not feel too disturbed by mice (dead and alive) in the kitchen and the living room and many spider webs and their inhabitants. Two bedrooms in the upper floor are only separated by very thin walls and the wooden floor creaks very loudly. We - a party of six persons - chose the house because we wanted to have four bedrooms. Upon arriving, we were surprised to hear that the remise was not included in the rental fee for six persons (in contrast to what, in our understanding, is said on the website). But it took only a phone call with the owner to clear this issue satisfactorily. Unfortunately, the remise was not cleaned: Used laundry was still in the living room, in the bathroom there were many traces of the previous guests. Even after we asked for the remise to be thoroughly cleaned, it still remained partly dirty. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in this wonderful area of the Dordogne region.

Quiet stay in beautiful French countryside

We had an amazing week at this house. The house had everything we needed, and was clean and bright. We walked a short 12 mins each morning to the local hotel Chastrusse for fresh croissants and baguettes. The town of Souillac was a 15 min drive away, and had grocery stores, green grocers, butchers, bakers etc. Philippe was very helpful, answered any questions we had, and made us feel welcome. Communication was easy. We are so glad we found this house to stay, and would come back in a heart beat. Merci, Philippe!!!

Period house in beautiful settings

A wonderfully renovated and modernized house set in a large park-like garden with heated swimming pool of good size. Definitely a place for nature lovers. The nearest village is one km away and has a very good restaurant. The location is ideal for sightseeingwith many sites within a 30 min drive. Philippe is an excellent host and keen to give many recommendations for both eating and sightseeing in perfect english. Dog owners are welcome. Definitly a recommendation.

prachtig huis met fantastisch uitzicht

Prachtig huis met adembenemend uitzicht. Het huis staat overigens niet in Julien-de-Lampon, maar in Lamothe Fénélon. Het adres daar is: Andreuilles. Dat stond niet in de omschrijving en als ik de eigenaar niet had gemaild, had ik het huis nooit gevonden. Jammer genoeg was het zwembad niet verwarmd, ook niet na een bezoek van een klusjesman.Het was prettig geweest als er een informatiemap was geweest met info over huis en omgeving..

Wonderful family holiday at this perfect villa

Our family stayed here in July/August 2018 with 5 adults and 3 children. We hired the separate gite as well and there was plenty of room for all of us. The interior of the house is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The garden is huge and absolutely beautiful. We also had lots of fun using the pool and table tennis table. The river is only about 10 mins away and due to the hot weather there were lots of beaches to choose from and it was safe for swimming/kayaking. We also explored all the nearby attractions: Rocamadour, Sarlat, Castelnaud, Marqueyssac, La Roque Gageac, Haut Quercy etc etc....Les Jardins d'eau de Carsac is an absolute must for children. It is a bit of a drive for any day trips as the location is quite secluded but the villa is so wonderful that it is most definitely worth it. Thank you Philippe!

Fabulous holiday in a fabulous house!

We stayed at Andreuilles for the month of June 2018 and it was a real home from home. The house was just as lovely as we expected it to be, is in a fabulous location and suited our needs perfectly. The gardens are huge and were perfect for us - our dog loved having so much space and for four weeks he didn't need to be walked as he got all the exercise he needed running around the garden. The pool was well used and despite other reviewers feeling it is too small we found it to be perfect for us. There is no shade at the pool, nor are there any umbrellas, but this is not a problem as there is plenty of shade available under the numerous trees in the garden. Many of the trees in the garden are walnut trees, but there is also a cherry tree which provided us with an abundance of lovely cherries and also a fig tree which I'm sure will provide lots of figs come August/September. We found the house itself to be well equipped with enough space for everyone to come together, but also to have privacy. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. One bedroom is ensuite whilst the other two share a shower room and separate loo.The terrace at the back of the house was well used for all meals as was the BBQ. The house is located in a very quiet area with Nadaillac de Rouge about 1km away - there is a chambre d'hotes in the village where we enjoyed an excellent evening meal and which can also supply bread and croissants as there are no shops in the village. Souillac is a 15 minute drive away and has a large Le Clerc supermarket which met all our needs and has excellent fresh produce. Souillac itself is a nice town and worth exploring for a morning. We did not eat out much, but would highly recommend Le Roi Carotte in St Julien de Lampon where we enjoyed a superb lunch. There is lots to do in this area and we barely scratched the surface, but highlights for us included the villages of Rocamadour, Sarlat, Martel and Domme and also the gardens at Manor d'Eyrignac. Our stay at Andreuilles was made even better by the owner Philippe who was so attentive and friendly from the moment we arrived and was always keen to receive feedback and ideas. Philippe was easy to contact if there were any issues (of which there were very few) and we enjoyed our many chats together!! All in all we had just the most wonderful time so thank you Philippe for the use of your beautiful home and we very much hope to visit again in the future.

Eine echte Oase - herrlich!

Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr gut ausgestattet, die Lage abseits jeden Rummels für uns ein wahrer Genuss! Der riesige Garten ermöglicht alles an Spiel, Spaß und Sport und unser Hund war auch völlig begeistert über diese Freiheit. Die Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Umgebung sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar (am kleinen See und im Nadilliac) und bieten wunderbare Mittags- bzw. Abend-Menüs zu absolut fairen Preisen. Auch der Pool war wunderschön und wurde ausgiebig genutzt. Absolut empfehlenswert! Sehr nette Betreuung durch den Eigentümer.
