Great location but maybe not for hot weather

Excellent location. Short drives to many outdoor attractions and villages.House has good outside spaces and privacy. Well equiped . Would be good in shoulder season but for summer the house overheats badly because of the glazed stairwell and no shutters or shading to downstairs bedroom. Upper loft very uncomfortable. Air conditioning is a joke. Undersized portable unit in loft area only which is noisy and innefective. Felt house was not correctly advertised as we relied on some form of air con coming here in mid summer. Lots of mosquitos. Bring Raid plug in units with you and this works ok.

Quirky - with unwanted extras!

Having negotiated the 27 steps up to the front door we then mounted the spiral staircase to the living rooms on the first floor. Access to the mezzanine floor above was via a set of unguarded steps - an accident waiting to happen. We used the bedroom on the ground floor which, for the first five days, was cold but otherwise comfortable. However, on each of the next three nights, following heavy rain during the day, we experienced an ingress of water on the tiled floor alongside and under the bed. Another accident waiting to happen.The owners admitted that this was due to a usually dormant spring under the tiles which they claimed had not been a problem for some years! At this point, faced with a weather forecast of further heavy rain for the next week, we took the decision to vacate the property and return home three days short of our planned holiday. We will not be going back.

peut mieux faire

accĂšs vraiment difficile pour personnes un peu ĂągĂ©es (beaucoup de marches Ă  grimper). par temps pas trĂšs chaud, la terrasse couverte en plein vent est plus que fraĂźche pour petit dĂ©jeuner (12°) et dĂźner . Equipement mĂ©nager Ă  complĂ©ter: pas de cafetiĂšre Ă©lectrique filtre, pas de grille-pain. Pas d'inventaire. Surpris du dĂ©pĂŽt blanchĂątre dans les rĂ©cipients: peut-ĂȘtre liĂ© Ă  l'eau calcaire? Sinon cadre trĂšs agrĂ©able malgrĂ© l'isolement .

Huisje maar voor 2 personen

Het leek een gezellig huisje. Maar bij aankomst was het super warm. Enkel mobiele airco op het bovenste kamertje maar super laagplafond en geen afkoeling. Airco ook met lawaai. Keuken , een heel klein waaiertje . Bijbouw een groterekleine waaier maar vuil. Slaapkamer beneden gezn koeling. Badkamer was mooi vernieuwd. . Goh eigenlijk zou dit niet mogen verhuurd worden vooraleer ze het echt opknappen om te verhuren. Het is echt niet proper vuile waaier.

Charme, calme et beau point de vue

Séjour trÚs agréable dans cette trÚs jolie maison de pays organisée sur 2 niveaux, chaleureuse et bien équipée. En bas, on profite de la terrasse, bien exposée, dans un berceau de verdure. En haut, on profite d'une vue panoramique sur l'autre cÎté de la vallée du Jaur, vert et sauvage. Merci à Juliet pour son accueil attentif à distance.

Comme l'année précédente, excellent séjour, dans un endroit charmant et une région qui mérite le détour. Possibilité de rayonner dans les environs et aussi de trouver les commerces/restaurants et autres activités pour occuper agréablement tout le séjour. A refaire au plus vite.

Herrlicher Blick

Schönes, altes, geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtetes Haus. Hat alles prima geklappt. Man fĂŒhlt sich fernab der Welt und ist mitten in einer herrlichen Wanderregion. Durch die offene Front ist man auch innen an der frischen Luft.

Sehr schönes altes HĂ€uschen am Berghang. Check-In und Kommunikation einfach und schnell. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, da man viel Treppensteigen muss und auch das Haus am Hang gelegen ist. Super das man eine Hund mitnehmen konnte, leider ist das GrundstĂŒck nicht komplett eingezĂ€unt und die Wendeltreppe sehr steil. Wir hatten eine super schön Zeit in einem urigen HĂ€uschen. Perfekt fĂŒr den Wanderurlaub und Einsamkeit.

Familienurlaub in der Natur

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem, eingewachsenen Garten. Man hat absolut seine Ruhe, wenn man will, die Menschen im Dorf sind aber auch sehr nett und aufgeschlossen. Die Gegend bietet tolle Ausblicke und viel Zeit in der Natur mit und ohne Freizeitangebot. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuverlÀssig und versorgten uns mit vielen Zusatzinfos. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.

Traumhafte Auszeit in der Bergerie!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in la Bergerie verbracht. Runterkommen und mit allen Sinnen genießen...ein liebevoll gestaltetes HĂ€uschen in perfekter Natur. Schade dass im Oktober fast alle Restaurants zu hatten. Wanderungen in der Gorges d'HĂ©ric und in dem Massiv Le Caroux waren ein absolutes Highlight. FĂŒr Radfahrer ist der grĂŒne Weg entlang dieses Massivs eine kilometerlange gerade Traum Strecke. Wenn FahrrĂ€der vor Ort gewesen wĂ€ren, hĂ€tten wir da mal eine grĂ¶ĂŸere Tour gemacht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und sagen DANKE!

Wundervoll gelegenes Kleinod im Herault

Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben ein liebevoll restauriertes Bauernhaus, genauer ein ehemaliger Schafstall mit Aufbau. Die Schafe sind aber schon lange nicht mehr dort und so ist es ein ideales Ferienhaus, geeignet als Basis fĂŒr ausgedehnte Wanderungen und andere AktivitĂ€ten. Man muss das Haus aber gar nicht verlassen, um sich dort wohlzufĂŒhlen. Es gibt zahlreiche Möglichkeiten im Haus und auf dem großen GrundstĂŒck mit vielen OlivenbĂ€umen, Oleander und Bambushecken einen schönen Platz zum Lesen, Essen, Grillen, Feiern oder Spielen zu finden. Das Haus ist liebevoll und sehr individuell eingerichtet, netterweise haben die Besitzer auch alle ihre Wanderkarten und ReisefĂŒhrer fĂŒr die Gegend vor Ort gelassen, so dass man gut seine AusflĂŒge planen kann. Im GĂ€stebuch findet man viele Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge und Restaurant-Empfehlungen. Die Besitzerin schickt eine sehr gute Übersicht der Möglichkeiten, sobald man gebucht bzw. bezahlt hat. Wichtig zu wissen ist allerdings, dass man fĂŒr dieses Haus gut auf den Beinen sein muss, es liegt an einem Steilhang und man ist stĂ€ndig auf einer Treppe. Wobei die Wendeltreppe von den WohnrĂ€umen zum Schlafzimmer im kĂŒhlen Stallgewölbe eine besondere Herausforderung darstellen kann. Man kann sich aber gut festhalten. Mit Tablett kann es schon schwieriger sein. Auch die freie Treppe vom Wohnraum zum Obergeschoss ist nur etwas fĂŒr trittsichere Menschen, die kein GelĂ€nder benötigen. Also Vorsicht mit dem Alkohol ;-) Die Weine in der Gegend sind bekannterweise empfehlenswert und schwer. Die zwei Hauptebenen sind auch gut mit Außentreppen erreichbar, so dass Einzug und Auszug wunderbar einfach zu bewĂ€ltigen sind. Alles in allem ein Haus fĂŒr Individualisten und sportliche Menschen, die diese relativ unbekannte Ecke Frankreichs zu Fuß oder auf dem Rad entdecken möchten. Auch fĂŒr reine Autofahrer bieten die Straßen viel Abwechslung - Empfehlung: dem Navi kurz vor dem Ort nicht nur vertrauen, es gibt eine gut ausgebaute Serpentinenstraße nach Les Horts, man muss nicht die direkte Strecke steil den Berg hoch nehmen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und können das besondere Haus nur empfehlen (Paar, um die 60 Jahre).

Endroit authentique et rempli de charme, hameau trĂšs calme, bĂątiment dont la rĂ©novation est assez ancienne mais agrĂ©able et fonctionnel, des propriĂ©taires Ă  l'Ă©coute et rĂ©actifs, mĂȘme Ă  distance (installation d'un nouveau frigo), rĂ©gion superbe avec beaucoup de possibilitĂ©s d'activitĂ©s extĂ©rieures, sĂ©jour Ă  refaire sans hĂ©sitation.
