「nous avons découvert la Meuse à travers nos excursions (Bar le Duc, Commercy,. Saint Mihiel, Stenay et Verdun) chaque jour, partis à 9h, nous ne rentrons pas avant 18h pour prendre une collation dans le jardin et se rafraichir dans la piscine. 「The house was as advertised, so what you see is what you get. Until we arrived the communication was fine and the owners were waiting for us. On arrival a quick tour of the house and garden and where the brochures were. All ok so far. 「Gezellige ruimte. Alles aanwezig. Tv met cast-mogelijkheid. Badkamer erg krap, op toilet moeten zitten met schuifdeur maar net dicht. Met 1 pas zit je vanuit je bed op het toilet. Tweede nacht was het erg vochtig in de ruimte. Er kon geen klapraam open, was geen ventilatie. Locatie dicht bij de winkelstraten, centrum. Parkeren gratis, straat verderop dus dat was super.」

「FIrst of all, Jennifer is a great host -- doesn't speak much English, but goes out of her way to try. We couldn't figure out how to use the heaters, so she came right over to show us. It was nice to meet her that way; she was truly helpful. The listing on Vrbo is 100% accurate, so there are shortcomings, but no surprises at all. Place is well laid-out for a family. That being said, Pannes is the middle of nowhere; all the commerce is in Pont-A-Moussons, about 15 km from the house. Good luck...
