9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2 reviews)
"The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. Finally, be warned that there are no fans (let alone air conditioning) in the apartment, so it is stiflingly hot in the heat. I appreciate this is not the host's fault,...

"Excellent location in the old town part of Tours. Overnight parking is available less than 5 minutes away for €12,3 a day. Lots of restaurants, bars, and other retail just a blocks away. The unit itself is very basic so you a paying for the location. The washer and dryer were very handy (though we did need to buy our own detergent). We enjoyed our stay. Relais d'Amboise - The Leading Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent
"Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit."
