Beautiful and relaxing retreat

We had a wonderful holiday at Domaine de Couret-Haut recently. The accomodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The grounds are spacious, both us and our children had great fun using all the outdoor facities. I can't recommend this place more highly!

Un petit coin de paradis.

2ème séjour à Cournet-Haut, où nous retournons avec beaucoup de plaisir. La maison La Forge est restaurée avec goût, très bien entretenue et très bien équipée ! Le domaine est un lieu idéal pour se détendre et se ressourcer : calme, grands espaces, idéal pour les enfants (beaucoup de choses à disposition : jeux, Vtt, DVD, livres, etc ...) Sans oublier, les propriétaires qui sont très accueillants, disponibles et discrets. Et le Périgord, magnifique région !!! Nous retournerions sans hésiter au domaine de Cournet-Haut !!!

calme, luxe et volupté

Un environnement naturel au printemps d'une grande beauté. L'intérieur est soigné et décoré avec goût, on se sent chez soi. Une grande quiétude nous habite, on voudrait y rester pour toujours, suspendu au dessus du vacarme du monde. La région est magique, l'homme habite là depuis longtemps il a laissé des traces de toutes les époques et on comprends pourquoi. La Dordogne, majestueuse, serpente entre les châteaux. Les visiter est une plongée dans le moyen âge. L 'accueil des propriétaires était très chaleureux et toujours instructif. On rencontre des voyageurs qui se sont sédentarisés dans l'un des plus beaux coins de France, dans un lieux béni des dieux. Vraiment à recommander à tous et toutes, vous pouvez venir avec les enfants, pleins d'activités les attendent pendant que vous pourrez vous reposer où partager des moments avec eux.

La Forge Est Parfait ...

La Forge was recommended to us by discerning friends who could not speak highly enough about Domaine De Cournet-Haut. We holiday almost always on the back of recommendations: it's the only way to guarantee suitability. The Domaine's tasteful and well designed website reflected almost exactly what we actually got in terms of vacation and location. The properties, grounds and gardens were extensive and kept in perfect order, the location was peaceful, the views were stunning. Our children were able to roam freely but always within sight. Fanny and Alan and their family provide excellent customer service and their knowledge and interest certainly enhances your stay. We would absolutely recommend Le Domaine and we very much look forward to going back in a couple of years when our girls are old enough to canoe on the Dordogne.
