Très contentes de nos vacances à St-Vaast-La-Hougue. La maison est très agréable et le jardin charmant, mon petit chien s'y est bien amusé. Nous n'avons pas pu en profiter pleinement vu la période tardive de notre séjour mais nous avons apprécié la véranda très lumineuse. Le seul bémol est la literie d'une des chambres qui est inconfortable et probablement bonne à changer. Mais dans l'ensemble y compris l'accueil, c'est très satisfaisant et nous vous le conseillons.

Great location

The house was really easy to find and is in a great location, within easy distance of three Boulangeries and supermarkets and also a short walk to the harbour. Being winter, we didn't make much use of the garden (which Im sure is lovely in summer) and the conservatory was cold so we didn't use it. The house was warm which was great, and the fire works but we did have to buy our own wood. The toilet upstairs is very small and various members found they could not use it at all as they did not fit in the space (tall members of the family)!The living room could be improved by providing some comfortable seating. The cutlery was old and well used. The main issue we had was the faulty shower. We received a note upon arrival that the overhead shower had broken and that parts were needed to repair it. The owners said they would come to fix it during the week but this did not happen. We used the shower attachment however this squirted a jet of water straight at you and was difficult to manage. We were told after booking that we had to pay for sheets (45 Euros) and could opt to pay a cleaning fee of 50 Euros. This information was not available prior to booking. It would have improved transparency to know this in advance as it may have affected my decision to book the property. I was under the impression that bedding was included and it was only after booking that charges were applied. Despite the lovely location, I would not book this property again.

Séjour à Saint Vaast- La -Hougue août 2024

Accueil très chaleureux et maison spacieuse avec un beau jardin sans parler de la véranda qui est une pièce conviviale et lumineuse. Nous la recommandons chaudement car en plus la région est splendide et les habitants spécialement cordiaux ! Merci

Normandie visit

The property is well located in St Vaast La Hougue. Older property that is well loved. Gorgeous backyard and garden that is inviting to stay and relax. Walk into town to a fantastic bakery, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed out stay there. Jaques and Marie are wonderfully responsive hosts.

Ein schöner Urlaub in der Normandie

Wir hatten zusammen mit unserer Hündin, Mia, einen schönen Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus war wie in der Beschreibung. 3 nette Schlafzimmer, Bad, 2 Toiletten, Koch und Wohnbereich, netter Wintergarten und ein sehr schöner Garten. Alle Elektrogeräte waren neu und sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist so, wie wir sie auch aus anderen Ferienhäusern kennen. Das Meer, der Hafen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Emplacement calme et proche du centre

Super emplacement proche a la foi des grandes surfaces et des commerces du centre ville. La maison etait parfaite comme indiquée dans l annonce , et le jardin est magnifique, bien clôturé, ce qui est le top pour quand on a des chiens. Vivement les prochaines vacances.

Haus mit wunderschönem garten

Das Haus ist einfach toll, der grose garten zur alleinnutzung, in der küche ist wirklich alles da und man kann wunderschön im wintergarten essen. Betten bequem, man ist schnell im ort und am hafen.

de bonnes surprises

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'entrée fermée (notre chien ne pouvait pas échapper sur la route) l'espace repas, la veranda -grand espace de détente et le jardin clos que notre chien a tout particulièrement apprécié. Le seul bémol dû à notre âge et notre manque de souplesse, les lits sont un peu bas. Séjour très agréable.

Schönes Ferienhaus in St. Vaast

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit schönen Wintergarten und Garten. Die Betten waren bequem, schönes Bad, 2 separate Toiletten, Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Bequemere Sitzmöglichkeiten im Wohn-Ess-Bereich würden bei schlechtem Wetter den Komfort erhöhen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett und aufgrund unseren begrenzten Französisch-Kenntnisse prima auf Englisch möglich. St. Vaast ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um das nördliche Cotentin zuerobern. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Belle véranda

Jolie maison, bien située, jardin et véranda très agréables, Mais!!! Équipement, en particulier de la cuisine à revoir : un four de ce siècle serait appréciable, pas d'économe, pas de couteau à viande, plaques vitrocéramiques chauffent mal.. Le ménage laisse à désirer : moutons de poussière partout, les fauteuils extérieurs ne sont pas nettoyés au prétexte que les oiseaux vont les salir en qlq jours, dommage, ce serait sympa en arrivant...

Ein nettes Häuschen mit hübschem Garten

Das Häuschen ist nett. Mobiliar und vor allem die Küchenausstattung sind zum Teil ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sitzmöbel am Kamin sind klein, man kann sich bei kaltem Wetter nicht gemütlich aufhalten. Dafür sind Wintergarten und Garten schön!

Adresse à retenir !

Maison charmante, superbe véranda et jardin style tropical. Idéalement située, proche du centre-ville, environnement calme. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Et nous reviendrons.
