“Due to the wildfire in Bordeaux, we changed our hotel to O’Nice and stayed for 2 nights, the location is perfect for sightseeing around the region, took us 35 mins driving to Cognac, and 40 mins to Royan.
Our room was not big, but a/c was quite good in such hot weather. Parking space is generous and very secure, and the restaurant next to the hotel is always busy, we’ll give it a try next time.”

“While I was grateful that the room was air conditioned, the shower was very poor. I imagine that it will be similar to those on submarines. In order to operate the shower you were required to push the control button, which the allowed the water to flow for a very limited amount of time, you could just about manage to get wet. Then you could apply shampoo, soap and or body wash. You then were required to keep pushing the button to obtain water to rinse yourself down. Not a great experience.”
