Our first floor apartment in Residence Thalassa, can accommodate 4 people, is perfectly located. There is a sea view in the front and swimming pool two steps away at the back.

Crossing the 200 metres through the botanical garden will lead you to the beach. Thalassa is a part of a lovely quiet residential complex. Walking 25 minutes on the promenade along the beach, will take you to the city centre where you can find plenty of great restaurants, bars, night clubs, open markets, shops, a casino and the marina. From this marina you can take the boat across the gulf to visit St Tropez.

A very relaxing week's break!

As our 19-year-old daughter wanted a relaxing holiday by the sea to rest from her studies but could only spare one week with her parents in her busy summer schedule, this flat seemed to fit the bill and definitely didn't disappoint. It's ideally located in close walking distance to the beach and has a very nice, decent-sized pool just behind the flat. We had a very lazy time, spending our days alternating between beach and pool and walking in to Saint-Maxime along the seafront in the evening for ice-cream and to see the port and nightlife. We were also ideally placed, on the seafront across from the flat, to see the 15th August firework displays in both Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Tropez. The flat has everything you need and having the balcony and seaview to look at on the right-hand side is very pleasant indeed. The second bedroom isn't as big as the main bedroom but we found it was still suitable for my daughter to share with her friend who joined us after we arrived. A family of four (even with teenagers/young adults) could stay there comfortably. Last but not least, Caroline was very helpful, going out of her way to accommodate our needs before and on our arrival at the flat. We would definitely recommend it.

Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Gute Kommunikation mit Caroline(Übergabe und Empfang) Kleines Körbchen als Willkommensgruß. Alles an Equipment da, was man benötigt. Appartement agréable

Résidence propre et calme, proche des commodités. Gérant à l’écoute et arrangeant. La piscine est très peut fréquentée ce qui est très agréable. L’appartement est fonctionnel et propre mais la cuisine trop petite et la wifi n’a pas fonctionnée.

Charmantes Appartement in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohung liegt in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage mit einem schönen und sauberen Pool. Die grüne Umgebung und die anderen Bewohner haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden. Der Weg zum Strand durch den botanischen Garten war schön und nur ca. 5 min lang. Die Ausstattung des Appartements sowie das Badezimmer waren soweit für die Ferien in Ordnung und modern, es gab auch Liegen für den Pool und ein paar Strandbasics zur Nutzung. Ein paar Küchenbasics haben uns als Selbst-und-gerne-Kochern gefehlt, diese haben wir dann selbst besorgt (z.B. Küchenschere/Knoblauchpresse etc., also eher Kleinigkeiten). Töpfe/Pfannen waren eher mittelmäßig und nicht alle passend für die kleine Kochplatte. Sie könnten einmal erneuert werden (z.B. Topf mit defektem Deckel). Insgesamt hatten wir aber einen wunderbaren Strandurlaub. Drei Dinge, die je nach Alter und Vorlieben vllt. noch wichtig sind, wir jedoch nicht als generell negativ bezeichnen würden: 1.) Das Appartement ist nur über einen etwas eigenwillig angelegten Treppenzugang erreichbar (mehrmals rauf und runter), was für kleinere Kinder oder Familien, bzw. ältere Personen problematisch werden könnte. 2.) Die Luftzirkulation in der Wohnung war trotz gemäßigten 28-32 Grad und zwei Ventilatoren schwer zu regeln. Wir hatten besonders nachts Schwierigkeiten, andere Appartements in dem Komplex haben Klimaanlagen... 3.) Die Matratze im Elternschlafzimmer (französisches Doppelbett = 1,40 breit) war sehr hart. Das ist sicher Geschmack-/Gewöhnungssache, bzw. hängt von Einzelnen ab, wir haben es als sehr unangenehm empfunden und tatsächlich auch schlecht geschlafen.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Das war eine tolle Woche „unter der Sonne genau“! Das Appartement ist genau so schön wie auf den Fotos. Die kleine Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Alles war da: Von einer guten Pfanne bis hin zum Pürrierstab und und und. Zudem gab es Gewürze, Spülmaschinentabs und auch im Bad warteten Duschgel, Flüssigseife bis hin zur Bodylotion. Wir kamen an Silvester und im Kühlschrank war nicht nur Milch, Saft und Wasser, sonern auch eine richtige gute Flasche Sekt! Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Carolines Mutter begrüßt. Der Kontakt zu Caroline war unkommpliziert und sehr herzlich. Das Appartement liegt nur ein paar Minuten vom Strand entfernt, und in den Ortskern läuft man entspannt eine 1/2 Stunde. Wir haben eine Woche fantastisches Wetter gehabt und die Küste sowie die kleinen Bergdörfer genossen. Bestimmt kommen wir noch einmal wieder! Insofern ein großes MERCI und au revoir!!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung für Familien

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, hatten uns schon Getränke in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Der Blick vom Schlafzimmerfenster aus ist einfach toll, wenn man morgens aufsteht. Zum Strand nur ein paar Minuten, nach Saint Maxime Zentrum allerdings 20 Minuten. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was man so braucht, sehr sauber. Der Pool hat uns nicht ganz so gut gefallen, es waren weder Liegen noch Sonnenschirme am Pool, also sehr einfach, aber für Kinder reicht es.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt direkt vor dem Garten Eden mit Blick auf die Cote d'Azur

Leider haben wir (3 Erwachsene, ein Kind) nur eine Woche (Ende Mai) in dieser wunderbar eingerichteten und sauberen Wohnung verbracht. Jeden Morgen wird man von singenden Vögeln geweckt, die in dem anliegenden Garten hausen und aus dem unglaubliche Düfte emporsteigen, die die ganze Gegend einhüllen. Die Vermieterin hat an alles gedacht und dafür gesorgt, dass wir eine unvergessliche Woche hatten, die eindeutig zu kurz ausgefallen ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und spiegelt die Schönheit und Eleganz der Cote d'Azur wider. Darüber hinaus war die gesamte Anlage (inkl. des Pools) in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Eines ist sicher: wir kommen wieder.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans l'appartement de Caroline : propreté impeccable, bonne literie, clair, calme, avec une jolie vue sur le jardin botanique et la mer, bien équipé et joliment décoré, gai et coloré. Frigo rempli à notre arrivée d'une bouteille d'eau, de jus d'orange et de rosé ! Petite épicerie de base à disposition, boites de kleenex, tout est prévu ! Nous n'avons pas eu le plaisir de rencontrer Caroline (séjour en mars 2018), mais la communication a été très facile, rapide et pleine d'attentions. A recommander les yeux fermés. Merci Caroline. Great for families or couple, close to beach.

We stayed at the beginning of August not having been to ste. Maxime before. The apartment is as stated in the description and very welcoming. It is close to tennis club and beach but also a little park, which our children 3 and 6 enjoyed as a break from the water. The swimming pool was safe and kids happy to splash around. Apartment had everything, only thing we might have done with is extra fan but everything far exceed expectations. The check in and check efficient and easy. Thanks for helping to provide our family with a lovely landing pad for all of our fun.

Nettes Appartement am Strand

Das Appartement ist schön gelegen - 200 m zum Strand, in Zentrum Saint Maxime ca. 20 min zu Fuß. Die Residenz Thalassa ist sehr ruhig und angenehm. Saint Maxime ist ein netter, nicht überdrehter Ort. Wem das nicht reicht: Das Schiff nach Saint Tropez geht zur Hochsaison alle 15 Minuten. Die Wohnung ist schön und gut ausgestattet, besonders der große Balkon ist wunderbar. Der Blick aufs Meer ist wirklich so wie auf den Fotos. Für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenagern sind wir in der Wohnung gut zurecht gekommen, alles ist gut durchdacht eingerichtet. Die Küche ist eine Appartement-Küche und gut für die kleine Ferienküche geeignet. Nett war, dass sich im Kühlschrank schon Wasser, Saft, Milch und ein Flasche Rosé fanden. Die Übergabe hat problemlos funktioniert.

Klein aber sehr fein

Die Ferienwohnung in der Residenz Thalassa war sehr zentral gelegen. Nur wenige Gehminuten zum Strand und der Pool war direkt gegenüber. Zum Zentrum von Sainte Maxim brauchte man 15 Gehminuten. Nach Saint - Tropez hat man aufgrund der VerkehrsLage fast eine Stunde gebraucht, irgendwie war immer Stau 😕 Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was braucht und es hat nichts gefehlt, sodass für das leiblichen Wohl gesorgt werden konnte. Was uns sehr freudig überrascht hatte war das der Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft mit Getränken befüllt war.

Quiet simplicity in a lovely location

Another wonderful stay in Ste. Maxime and we were delighted to stay at this lovely little apartment again. We have a four year old boy, so a quieter spot away from the bustle of the town was ideal for us. The apartment is perfect for a small family like ours or a couple. Breakfast on the balcony in the sunshine is always a favourite and having use of the pool and paddling pool is a real bonus. I love looking out over the botanical gardens and you can see the sea on one side and watch the boats. One of the nicest things is the cooling wind that comes through when you open the kitchen and patio windows. It's also an easy walking distance of a nice beach and easy drive to various locations along the coast. Caroline makes things simple, giving great directions to the apartment and there is a folder with suggested places to visit, restaurants etc. A lovely place!

Lovely apartment with pool, beach and park

We have stayed twice with our two young children and really enjoyed it. Clean, comfortable apartment that was exactly as described and very helpful owners who accommodated our requests e.g. for a travel cot and a late checkout. Very quiet and peaceful, lovely clean pool with a paddling pool for the toddlers, a short walk through shady gardens with playground for the kids, to the beach which was clean, sections of both sand and pebbles to choose from, and some beach bars/restaurants. A 20 min walk into town which has lovely restaurants, shops, and beach as well as boat across to St Tropez. Highly recommended - we hope to be back again!

Hyggelig leilighet med sjøgløtt

Vi hadde en super uke. Leiligheten er veldig koselig, praktisk og har en hyggelig veranda med sjøgløtt og utsikt til den botaniske hagen. Vi badet i det fine bassenget og det var kort vei ned til fin strand med dusj. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake 😊.

Ein toller Urlaub in Ste Maxime

Eine Woche waren wir mit Freunden und zwei Kleinkindern in der Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und zur Begrüßung gab es bereits kühle Getränke! Für vier Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder war die Wohnung etwas klein, aber dennoch fein. Ein Babybett wurde uns kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt und sonst war die Wohnung für unsere Kleinen gut vorbereitet (z.B.: waren Kabel versteckt oder Dekogegenstände hochgestellt). Am besten war natürlich der kleine Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne und zum Meer, da hat sich das Urlaubsgefühl schnell eingestellt und auch die lange Fahrt war schnell vergessen. Die Lage der Wohnung war ideal und bestens für die Kids, da im Botanischen Garten gleich ein Spielplatz war und der Pool einen Kleinkindbecken hatte. Und der Strand war ebenso ein Katzensprung entfernt. Etwas nervig war die Treppe zum Appartement, da wir die Buggys hochgetragen haben... Unser Tipp für den Strand: Etwas längerer Fußweg in Richtung Port Grimaud, dort war eine Bucht zwar auch an der Straße wie die anderen, aber mit viel Grünem, sodass man die Straße nicht sehen konnte und einer Mole mit Leuchtturm ;-) Alles sehr sehr empfehlenswert!!!

We cannot wait to go again!

We had a lovely holiday here for a week in May half term with my 9 year-old daughter. The weather was beautiful, warm with cooling sea breezes and it didn’t rain once. There was plenty for my daughter to do with the botanical gardens and playground next door and the sandy beach just a 5 minute walk away. A swimming pool was also available just outside. The town has small rides and carousels etc as well as the shops you would expect (ice cream, clothes, groceries) and is only a 15 minute pleasant walk along the promenade. Tennis courts are a 5 minute walk. There is also a theme park called Aqualand in the town but this is only open in high season. From the town we took the boat across to St. Tropez and had a lovely day there exploring the citadel and learning about the 2nd World War history of the place (which tied in with the national curriculum!). We also went to Marine Land which was a 45 minute drive and well worth it, with performing dolphins, elephant seals and killer whales together with conservation information in English (again educational!) The flat was the perfect size for 4 people with a nice balcony with views of the sea. The kitchen has two rings a microwave/oven and an adequate fridge. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery and a cupboard full of essentials such as salt, clingfilm, oil etc, plenty of tea towels and fairy liquid is provided. Everything was clean & the flat is nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. Free wifi was available and there is a nice tv. The local supermarket had a good choice of French and international groceries and lots of good fresh fruit (ripe!) and vegetables were available. We cannot wait to go again!

Wunderbare Ferien

Wir haben wunderbare Ferien in dieser geschmackvoll eingerichteten, gut ausgestatteten und sauberen Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Kinder wollten jeweils schon morgens in den Swimming-Pool, der sich praktischerweise vis-à-vis befindet. Zum Strand führt ein kurzer, angenehmer Weg durch den Botanischen Garten, in dem sich zwei schattige Kinderspielplätze befinden. Beim Eintreffen wurden wir von der Mutter der Vermieter sehr nett empfangen und fanden Rosé-Wein, Mineralwasser und Milch im Kühlschrank vor, was praktisch war nach der Reise. Die Vermieter waren nett und hilfsbereit und alles hat gut geklappt. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Besuch von Saint-Tropez mit dem Schiff. Am Abend sind wir oft noch zu Fuss ins Städtchen Sainte Maxime an die Promenade ein Eis essen gegangen.
