“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”

It has a patio within the complex but no view although there is a communal bench outside with a lovely estuary view which we used frequently. It only has electric storage heaters which were impossible to work out hence the house was cold at times. The allocated numbered car park space within the complex is on a slope and a dip so was totally unsuitable for our low car, scraped the front. We used a different space as it was……

“This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view”
