“The snug was immaculate however we were unable to regulate the heating. In spite of turning all visible controls off, the heat was unbearable to the point we had to open the door at 4am.”

“A great location to explore the area, including walking distance to WoodHenge, a short drive to Stonehenge and an hour from Glastonbury. Very quiet, peaceful and quaint. The perfect short break away.”

“My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to……

“We loved our stay here! Clean and had a great sleep. Brilliant price for somewhere to stay close to York. Carpark was a little full and some bad parking meant it was a space down, but not the owners fault. Highly recommend for an affordable cute little getaway! Would definitely return”

“Lovely stay in a lovely lodge. Everything as described, clean and tidy and really helpful information given by Helen about stay and local area if you have never visited before. Within walking distance of a local pub and onsite facilities also but kitchen very well equipped. Comfy, home away from home after long walks in beautiful surroundings. Lodge is very pet friendly but as visitors without animals, you could tell it had been cleaned well and was perfect for us.”

“The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay.”

“Kleine cabin op een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op het meer! Vanaf terrein waar de cabin staat kun je zo het bos inlopen. Net groot genoeg voor 4 volwassenen, met de bagage die je bij je hebt. Prima uitgeruste keuken , maar het 2 persoonsbed heeft een slecht matras, dat echt aan vervanging toe is. We hebben genoten van de prachtige natuur in de omgeving.”
