We had a great stay at Casa Serafín Hotel. We arrived earlier than expected and they kindly allowed us to check into our room right away, which was a huge help as we had a trip booked in the afternoon. The location is perfect — right in the centre of everything, making it easy to get around Salento. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. The only downsides were that there was no hairdryer in the room, and it was sometimes hard to tell who was actually working at reception versus the cleaning staff, as there didn’t seem to be a clear reception presence. Overall, still a very good stay and we’d recommend it for its convenience and comfort.

Casa Serafín en Salento fue una experiencia encantadora. El lugar es acogedor, muy bien cuidado, prácticamente nuevo. La atención fue cálida y personalizada, siempre pendientes de que todo estuviera bien. Además, está muy bien ubicada, a pocos minutos del centro de Salento. ¡Definitivamente un lugar al que me encantaría volver!

The room was clean and cozy. There are many restaurants around and easy to walk to everywhere including the bus terminal. Only one wish was more storage or hanging area for clothes and toiletries.

Court séjour à Salento. Décoration hotel magnifique, literie très confortable. L’hôtel est placé dans la plus belle rue de Salento, tout près de TOUT (restaurants, boutiques de souvenirs, place principale où se trouvent les jeeps Willis. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Petits bémols : hôtel au coeur du centre ville donc ça peut être très bruyant jusqu’à tard en fonction de là où se trouve votre chambre. Nous en avions une qui donnait sur la rue. Si vous voulez du calme demandez les chambres au fond du jardin. Le petit déjeuner est le même tous les matins et n’est pas servi sous forme de buffet. Il y a des œufs à la demande (brouillés, au plat ou omelette), 1 tranche de fromage, boisson chaude, 1 coupole de fruits, 1 tartine de pain ou arepa avec beurre et confiture. Vous pouvez demander des portions en plus si vous avez une grande faim.

I booked and prepaid for the property via Expedia 2 months back but upon arrival they didn’t accepted the booking at night. This was insane as I had to wiggle around to find a place to stay at night. Next day after lot of back and forth they gave me a small room to stay. Very bad experience

Perfect location! It was easy to come and go which was perfect when we wanted to drop off shopping bags. You must bring wash cloths with you as they only provide towels. If you're planning on getting rest, this isn't the place for you as it is extremely loud all hours of the night. Although the room didn't get too hot, there is no fans or air control in the room. You have to ask to use an iron and it is shared with everyone staying at the hotel. If you need more toilet paper or fresh towels, you must ask for them. My son was really disappointed that he was unable to sleep on the top bunks because of there being many dead bugs up there. The shower floor was pretty gross and the room floor needed a good mopping. House keeping did come by but unfortunately the shower floor remained the same so I'd advise packing shower shoes. The "front desk" is almost non existent. Once you find someone who works there, be sure to get their number for WhatsApp in case you need anything. Breakfast was good. The staff were so kind and resourceful. They were very helpful. The rooms do look like the photos.

This property is beautiful newly remodeled with wonderful details. Staff is very nice and accommodating. It is located right on the main street in Salento: Calle Real. You have shopping and restaurants for several blocks.

Little to no sleep

Sometimes, it’s the little things that count. Like offering shampoo, and a second cup of coffee without being charged. This was sold as a full breakfast. Also, word of advice, do not book the rooms with the balcony unless noise does not bother you. The local people literally party ALL NIGHT LONG, and they are loud.
