The room was ready when we arrived and the on-site representative Luigi explained everything about the property , the room, the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Local transport, mini market, launderette are all close by. Cons: (1) the property is on a hill - you have to take at least two flights of stairs (not in the pictures) outside the house to get to the entrance, and then there is a colorful long flight of stairs inside the house (in the pictures). 「We enjoyed our stay here. There are 94 steps to get up to the house. Then another 20 steps to get up to the bedrooms. The views from the house are breathtaking. Con: we were there in June and it was hot. There is no AC on the main floor or screens on the windows, so it has a musty smell. 「A charming little place in the historical part of Salerno. Very convenient to get anywhere. There is a public elevator just in front of the main door which makes it easier to go up but there is an access via the stairs as well. The communication with Marco was smooth and friendly.
