“Communication with the hosts was poor and not very helpful. They did not answer our questions in a reasonable amount of time, leaving us to have to figure out a lot of things on our own. We never did see or meet a host, even though the booking site mentioned that there would be someone there. The entry system to access the unit was quite confusing. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff at the property were very helpful. Contact by WhatsApp by the host in the days before we arrived was much appreciated and helped us to locate the B&B easily. We had a very enjoyable stay.”

“This is a one of a kind place to stay in Salerno. It felt like staying inside a castle. From the little entry door, to the decor, to the music playing in the background. We sacrificed some convenience to try something new. There is no elevator but the host will use an electric lift to bring up your luggage and there is no full time attendant, so you have to message them when/if you need assistance. “The apartment is a short walk from Salerno train station and conveniently situated near multiple shops, restaurants and cafes. The cute balcony offers a nice view of the surrounding neighbourhood and patios below. The bed was very comfortable and room cleaning service was offered daily. There was unfortunately a plumbing issue in the bathroom and apparent mold buildup in the ceiling corner which was visually unattractive and came with a slight odor. “The owners were very sweet, my only issue was that the room was 6 or 7 floors up. I knew there was no elevator just wish I would have know that it was on the top floors due to the fact that I have major knee problems, & lugging suitcases up was not fun for my husband.
