My family loved staying at Little Wren. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Plenty of room for our family of four. I loved that it was stocked with plenty of towels, soap, dishes, and coffee! Will stay here again next time I'm in town.

Little Wren for spring break

Little Wren worked really well as a base of operations for our family trip (2 adults, two kids 9 & 13, and a dog) to Salida over spring break. The location was convenient for accessing Monarch, and even getting up Leadville and Ski Cooper wasn’t too bad.

Wonderful

Two of us with our two dogs stayed over a long weekend and had great time. The home is nicely planned and comfortable. Having an area for the dogs was super convenient. The location is in close proximity to downtown Salida, hiking, and biking trails. We really enjoyed ourselves and would be back.

Bill was awesome in communicating with us. Check in was easy. Location was close to town. The house is in a old Mobile Home park. We didn't use the loft but it had a king size bed. Will definitely stay there again!!

Lovely Little House in Salida

We spent three nights at this cute little house in Salida and had a wonderful time--all 6 of us. All the beds were comfy. Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft space. The fold out couch was comfortable too. When we arrived everything was very clean and nice! We cooked some of our meals at the home and everything turned out great. :) The hosts are very caring and thoughtful.

Little Yellow House

We loved the Little Yellow House! It was neat and tidy. Plenty of supplies such as towels, kitchen items, pillows, etc. The location leaves a bit to be desired. It is in a small trailer park and the house is close to Oak St, which is somewhat busy. Our two dogs were welcomed with treat bags! There is a fenced back yard area. It doesn’t have much grass, but there have been some new plants planted, so maybe it’s a yard in progress. Nice little patio with a grill available. We would stay there again! The owner and concierge were so very nice. The house is adorable!

Great little location with generous details

My husband, dog and I decided to spend a week in Colorado to celebrate his birthday and get out of the heat of Arizona. Salida was a pleasant little town to visit with lots to see and do if you enjoy all things outdoors. Little Wren was a great home base with wonderful amenities! The space was very comfortable for being a tiny home. I was actually amazed that it had enough space to host easy 5 adults but was perfect for just us 2. Everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything well stocked and ready for cooking any meal while there, the bathroom had super soft towels and also big enough for two people to be in at one time. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed with plenty of space for our clothes in the closets. The front porch was nice sized to accommodate our bicycles and to enjoy an evening cocktail while watching the sunset and the local deer meander through the neighborhood. Location wise it was a a mile bicycle ride to downtown and thankfully the town is very bicycle friendly, we felt very safe taking our pup for his daily runs. We had everything we needed to feel at home. The owners were so easy to communicate with and went out of their way to make sure that the week there was special for our celebration by providing things like a gift card to an amazing yummy restaurant to having Champagne chilled & waiting when we arrived, they even provided a dog bag with goodies for our pup to spoil him as well. Thank you Bill and Toni for sharing your Little Wren!

This is the cutest tiny home that provided everything we needed! The kitchen and in-home laundry was fully functional and convenient. Communication with our host was timely and very courteous. The check-in process was simple. The home is within walking distance of the downtown area. We especially enjoyed the front porch for morning coffee and a beautiful view of the mountains!

Our family of 5 fit comfortably in this house. The kids loved sleeping in the loft. We were happy to have the washing machine, dryer, and full kitchen. Town was close and convenient to drive to. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here!

Great place to stay for the New Year

Our family of 4 stayed here over New Years and used this as a base camp for skiing and snowmobiling in the area. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for making our meals. The loft area was a perfect place for the kiddos to sleep. We were welcomed in person and greeted with a bottle of local vino! Overall good trip!
