If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place. Showers have great pressure. Clean. But...no frills. No hair dryer or coffee maker. Toilets clean, but there is a plumbing problem with flushing. The water pressure is not working well with the toilets, upgrade is needed so that customer experience is brought up, because the potential here is a Great Stay for those looking for a unique and very interesting historical town!!!!

Cute, Quiet, and Safe

This was my second time staying in Lindsborg; the town is super cute with lot’s of culture, safe, quiet, and friendly. I booked a one night stay, as I was stopping along the way on a road trip. I learned the motel actually has two building locations, which are almost directly across the street from one another. The check in process was simple and the woman who checked me in offered a free upgrade. The room was clean, quiet, and secure. I traveled with my dog, and the pet fee was $25, which wasn’t a big deal, but it was a different price than what Hotels.com has listed for the fees. My room offered cable TV, a fridge and microwave, desk, two beds, and toiletries. Everything I needed! There isn’t any breakfast offered at this time, but there are two adorable locally owned coffee shops located in the historic downtown, which was just about six or so blocks away. As a solo female traveler, I would stay here again.

Fantabulous

My stay was above and beyond my expectations. The heat was already on so our room was warm and there is a heating lamp in the bathroom that kept my bubble bath warm. There are extended stay residents but that are very quiet at night. It was a very pleasant stay 10/10 would drive out of my way to stay there again.

Better last time

Front desk is great. Question the quality of cleaning. Could have been permanent stains on the bedding - if so it’s time to get new ones. Shampoo bottle was 1/2 empty ????? I’ve stayed here before and didn’t encounter this.

Quaint and Quiet

No bath tub, A/C would not cool the room, ice maker broken, door looks like it had been broken into several times, I did not stay the night. Too hot to relax or sleep. Left after a few hours. Not expecting a refund at all just wanted out. You get what you pay for I guess. 50.00 should be a 25.00 room.

For the money...

Rm. 28 was disgusting. Dirty and bugs and spiders everywhere, including the bed. We were moved across the street to RM 42 which was much nicer. Breakfast was ok. Rm 42 was okay for the money, Rm ,28 isn't hardly fit for farm animals.

Great motel For a reasonable rate with great servi

My stay was really good. I just needed a place to sleep at night and to relax from the day. The room was clean and comfortable. My only reservation was that the air conditioning seemed a bit on the warm side. The staff was very cordial And I was given a room that nearly booked for a higher rate for the same rate that I found on hotels.com. This is a great little motel overall.

Nothing fancy but it met my needs

The room was very basic but that's all I needed for an overnight stay. It was not fancy or even up to date in terms of decor but that was fine with me. I just needed someplace to sleep and the room was clean and had all I needed: a bed, hot water, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a TV. It's what you would expect for such an inexpensive price.

Looked like an old dilapidated motel like you would find along route 66. The only reason I booked it was because I had to be in Hutchinson, Kansas that night and the next day for a funeral. The Kansas State Fair at Hutchinson, Kansas had All the accommodations booked up for miles around and this was the closest. Because this was offered by Expedia it had to alright. WRONG, what a dump! ! ! Thanks Expedia for letting me down! ! !

The toilet was loose and I fell off and smashed my arm on the tub. The shower faucet leaked so the shower water pressure was terrible. To top it all off the owner tried overcharging us because we came in at midnight. We called and told him and when we got there he put us on the "nicer" side (his words). It took a call to Hotels.com to get him to concede, after he called my wife a liar.

we were able to transfer to the nicer motel Coronado East-- they could benefit from purchasing new beds as the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were very flat. The room was very clean and had a few amenities that were nice- fridge, and a coffee maker, ironing board-- I brought my own hair dryer which was a good choice as they didn't have one!

Nice hotel in a small but pretty town

The hotel is very easy to find—right off US 81 Business when driving into Lindsborg. Easy, fast check-in. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Quiet AC, quaint TV, comfortable bed. Gas station close by. Lindsborg is a very small town—so no restaurants close by, certainly none open late at night. Lindsborg (little Sweden) is a very cute place. Makes one wonder how Swedish people, used to such a different culture, climate, and landscape adjusted to life on the prairie in Kansas. The main street of the town is lined on both sides with Dala horses. Coronado heights is a must visit; they say the Swedish children, when they missed Sweden, would go on the hill and stare into the distance—imagining that they could see all the way to Sweden.
