This is a local motel...not a part of a large national chain. So there are not some of the "chain" amenities like a hot breakfast or an ice machine (however the owner did go back inside and brought us a bag of ice) The owners are very nice and accomodating as noted above. They responded very quickly to any requests or questions we had. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The price is very reasonable. We would stay here again if in the area.

We had a stop over at the Viking and the room was clean and had everything you might need- hair dryer and iron. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Clean room and peaceful stay. Comfortable bed. Could use a couple more pillows. Always nice to have a microwave and refrigerator in your room. Also, pizza hut directly across the parking lot. A lot of love is being out back into this motel.

Very nice basic motel with super kind and helpful staff. The staff even drove my traveling companion to the local hospital (he had a fall earlier in the day, not at the hotel!). AC was good and not right by the beds, which helped us sleep. Comfy beds, basic but clean room and bathroom. Breakfast basic but all we needed. Felt very safe and friendly. Excellent value overall. BTW, the town of Lindsborg is cute, has good coffee & lunch places and an interesting Swedish history.

Several stays at this property and never disappointed. Always get a king room, clean and all the needed necessities. Owners very friendly. Will stay again. My one suggestion would be upgrade the pillows and put 4 on the bed :)

Your staff were friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The air conditioner was noisy but worked well. We saw no coffee maker in the room, no ice bucket, and no ice machine on the premises, but there was a small refrigerator. Parking was convenient and felt safe. We liked the accessible easy to find location and the convenience of the busy Casey’s right across the street. Can’t rate the free breakfast because we checked out early before it was ready. Thank you for hosting our short stay in your lovely town.

I have stayed here for many years while visiting Lindsborg. I hadn't been for a few years, but I was met with so much love from them! I had asked if there was coffee in the rooms yet ( they were removed during covid) he said no, but he would make a pot for my sister and I. I told him we didn't need any until morning. He asked what time, I told him 6. Well at about 6:02 we were going to go see if there was coffee. We heard a knock on the door, and there he was with coffee, cream and sugar, An apple, orange and a pastry. I was so very touched that he made the effort. Warm fuzzies! Later we went down to get another cup and Cindy came out and recognized me. It was like a family reunion! I was so happy to see her! We all talked of our dogs and Africa and safaris. I got the best hug from her when we left, as did my sister. And this is why I stay here! These people go above and beyond. The place is always clean, the beds are comfy and the air conditioner worked like a charm. Do not hesitate to book here on your travels around Lindsborg. You will love it!

My wife and I were visiting Lindsborg and McPherson area for 3 day period. We looked at McPherson motels first, then Lindsborg. We definitely made the right choice by staying at the Viking Motel in Lindsborg. Check in was very easy. The owner did our check in. Made us fill right at home. The room was perfect, it was clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet, like we were the only ones staying there. Food was available with a very short walk. My wife and I will be going back to Lindsborg, and will not even look anywhere else to stay. We highly recommend the Viking motel in Lindsborg, Kansas
