A great get away !

We all enjoyed the cosy atmosphere away in a beautiful forest setting.The bird life & fresh air was lovely & relaxing.We enjoyed the stunning bush walks available near by.We can recommend this cabin for a real country get away.

Superb wilderness stay

Beautiful cabins with everything one needs, lots of great personal touches and a lovely atmosphere. Nestled in gorgeous bushland with lots of birds and wildlife. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful treehouse cabin

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful spot. The swimming hole was easily accessible and a great spot for a swim. The cabin was comfortable and the linen was lovely. Thankyou Cate for your very clear directions to the property and hints and tips. Highly recommended spot to stay.

Perfect Getaway

Best cabin in a hidden location. We loved the pottery, linen, comfy beds, large windows and wildlife! Great communication with owners. Desperate to be back !

Too short a stay

My 10-year old son and I loved staying at the cabin. We wished we could have stayed for much longer than 2 nights and explore more of the bushland.A tranquil place in the middle of pristine nature with beautiful wildlife. We will remember the breakfasts at the terrace in the presence of lorikeets and crimson reds. Nice relaxing atmosphere with lovely neighbors.

Worth it

Amazing property located within the rainforest, surrounded by nature with no service. Beautiful walks through the rainforest leading to rivers and waterfalls. Hosts were super informative and recommended some walks for us to do during our stay. Definitely recommend if you are wanting to stay in the Barrington area.

Cozy and beautiful

Perfect location for hikes to the river or drives further through the Barringtons. Cabin is cozy with all creature comforts you would expect. Morning coffees on the verandah with the King Parrots and Bbq dinners with the possums. Communication was amazing from start to finish. Can not wait to go again!

Relaxing

We stayed for 4 nights it was warm for early October 2023 but we stayed cool enough in the house We loved the visits from the local wildlife Pretty much had the place to ourselves which was great to unplug and unwind The house had everything we needed We loved it and have told all of our friends

Treetops, loved it

Peaceful, secluded get away in a delightful little chalet located at the end of the road (no easy pop to local shop for milk!) surrounded by majestic old forest. Pellet fire, generously equipped kitchen, clean, nice bathroom, comfortable beds with an abundance of lush blankets and bedding, a coffee making machine and a little verandah where we were visited by an abundance of birds (bring some seed and make friends!), Treetops is perfect to access the beautiful and easy local bush walks (+/- take a dip into the crystal clear river pools … glorious, albeit icy in winter!!) and to laze around enjoying some solitude. Lovely place for a quiet retreat amongst nature. Thanks Cate

The perfect off the grid vacation!

The entire stay was great. Myself, my 23 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter laughed and created some incredible memories. The wildlife was spectacular, the scenery magnificent. The cabin came with all the needed equipment and an assortment of dvds.

The area is tranquil, a beautiful area to relax and chill out.

Exactly what we needed, and really wish we'd had a whole week. It was peaceful, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We didn't realise there was even coffee to try the espresso machine! Next time... Brought my parents here as we'd stayed at the old Barrington Guest House when I was a kid. Still a beautiful area. We did the Blue Gum Track, and a whole lot of bird-watching, even seeing lyrebirds for the first time. Dungog is worth a visit - a small community-focused town. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

Lovely rustic cottage

We loved our stay in the lovely rustic cottage, so peaceful, the wildlife, hiking trails and swimming holes were fabulous. Cate was so accomodating when we had to change dates and very easy to deal with, highly recommend staying there and we will be back.

Loveliest place on earth

A very special stay on the edge of wilderness

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. Everything we could possibly want was provided and being in the quiet of the bush was exactly what we’d hoped for. There were so many personal touches in the cabin that showed the love and attention to detail provided by the owners. Thank you so much for a stay in a very special place that we would thoroughly recommend to our friends and family looking for a similar get away.

Great location and very peaceful

Very comfortable, snug, tucked I to the forest and right on the southern Barrington Tops walks. Lovely river, heaps of wildlife, birds etc. A real break away from Sydney. And all things mobile enabled. N few mins to Telstra access though for the addicts.

Unforgettable Rustic Holiday

We were surrounded by nature. Visited morning, afternoon and evening by beautiful birds, kangaroos and a possum. Very quiet and peaceful place. Well equipped cabin and able to sleep 6 people. Great place great location

Property was as described and we enjoyed our stay. We had trouble finding the property because Stayz email with the instructions on how to get in were unclear and included the wrong access code. I suggest Stayz revises their standard email and include a clear note for the guests to review all information in the actual website before leaving as there is no wifi or mobile reception in the vicinity of the property.
