Six days by Lake Garda in a charming villa

The Villa is a charming Italian mansion located just the north of Salo. It has wonderful lakes views, and it’s a short walk from shops and restaurants. There are four good sized bedrooms on the ground and first floor and a lovely Double bedroom on the top floor with incredible views. Communication with the agent was faultless and the check-in process went very smoothly.

Beautiful Italian villa in its own grounds with lovely pool. Plenty of parking and secure gates. Comfy beds and air con in 3 of the bedrooms. Very convenient location for shops and restaurants. Fabulous view of the lake from the garden and front bedrooms. Lovely quirky old building which we didn't want to leave. Finish off top floor of building.Shower cubicle on 2nd floor very stiff and does not work on runners. Better explanation of waste/recycling and provision of recycling bins ie no brown bin for food waste although requested to use it. Outside lights on timer need to come on about 2 hours earlier as very dark by the time they come on so therefore have to have bbq quite early in evening.

Alte Villa in weitläufigem Garten

Das hat uns gefallen: - Prächtiger großer umzäunter Garten mit Seeblick, altem Baumbestand und großem Esstisch - fußläufige Nähe zu Badebucht am See, Einkaufsmarkt und schöner Promenade von Gardone Riviera - Sauberkeit der Unterkunft - Versorgung mit Bettwäsche und Handtüchern in großzügiger Menge - vier ordentliche Bäder - super Kommunikation mit Novella Battani von Holiday Garda Das hat uns nicht gefallen: - An drei von 14 Abenden wurde in einem nahe gelegenen Club bis tief in die Nacht hinein laut gefeiert - an einigen Tagen stundenlange Gartenarbeiten in benachbarten Villas mit lauten Maschinen - Autoverkehr von der Uferstraße recht deutlich zu hören und immer wieder laute Martinshörner - Türen im Haus schließen nicht gut und knarzen und quietschen laut bei Betätigung - sehr kleine Küche mit sparsamer Ausstattung - wenn Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine gleichzeitig an waren, flog die Sicherung raus - Außenbeleuchtung konnte von uns nicht bedient werden, sondern war automatisch geschaltet
