"This hotel is superb value. Room well maintained and clean. Bed a bit harder than I like but acceptable. Pool perfect. Restaurant ok. Beach stunning. Gym amazing views. If you want to eat out recommend Thai Thai just a few minutes walk and Black Elephant just a bit further away say 10 mins walk. ..."

"Loved my stay at The Standard. Beautifully designed and staff were all so helpful and friendly. Food was also great. I’d make 2 changes. An adult only pool (quite a few kids in the main pool and they tended to take over at times) and a bigger breakfast area. I’d still come back!"

"This is the worst place i have stayed in so far in thailand. The room was run down, we had to clean the drains out everyday to use the sink. The air-conditioning was noisy and would keep us awake at night. Mould is all through the bathroom, all the taps leak and are loose in the vanity and sink. ..."
