"Nice hotel, but NO HOT WATER, and limited parking."

"I loved my 5 night stay at the Hotel Victoria. Staff was lovely, responsive and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily. The old world charm and the grounds were wonderful. The pool is big and beautiful and chilly at this time of year but swimmable on gorgeous grounds. The only reason that I don’t have more 5 star ratings is because the building is old and it’s so challenging in this climate to keep up a property of this size and to keep it affordable. I first had a room with an old moldy bathroom but I requested a room change and received it the same day with a cleaner bathroom. All of which I appreciate. Breakfast daily in the restaurant was a great way to start the day and to end the day at the the bar was great. "

"The hotel was great, the staff, the amenities, very clean, great daily warm breakfast nice spread, coffee & tea, they have a 5 gallon water tank where you can fill up your own water bottle. Free laundry all you need to do is buy or bring your own detergent & softner. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, bars. Great location, I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend. "
