This place is the absolutely best - my room was extremely clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you need (air conditioning, fan, tv, wifi, coffee machine). You also have access to a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own meals if you want to. Gonzalo (the owner) is phenomenal, extremely friendly and provided me with all the information I needed on the island. He even picked me up and dropped me off from the airport. If you are in doubt on where to stay in San Andres book this place now!

A limpeza dos quartos era boa. No entanto, as toalhas só eram trocadas, se pedíssemos e mesmo que colocasse no chão, não trocavam. Explicaram que o fato ocorria devido ao racionamento de água na ilha. O ar-condicionado não podia ser utilizado entre 9 e 17h. De acordo com o proprietário, a pousada se comprometeu com a companhia de energia elétrica em racionar nesse período. No entanto, só soubemos do fato ao chegar na pousada. Nosso quarto dava de fundo para a lavanderia, o que tirava um pouco da privacidade. Do centro, são cerca de 15 minutos de caminhada. Como ficamos 7 dias hospedados, ficou meio cansativo. O bom atendimento do proprietário é o ponto mais positivo da pousada.

Super friendly, lovely owner.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner Gonzalo was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The day we arrived was a ‘festivo’, and when we popped to the local supermarket to look for snacks for my daughter it was already closed. We popped back to ask Gonzalo where the next closest one was, and he personally drove us there in his car and waited for us! The room was clean and comfortable, and there is a lovely little kitchen so you can make your own meals and snacks; great when travelling with kids! Ours was only a short stay on the way to Providencia, but we would definitely go back and stay for longer!

Excellent stay!!

Despite not being a fan of my actual room itself and the presence of lizards and annoyance of mosquitoes, the bathroom and pool were a great plus as well as the available kitchen. The service and acoommodations of the hosts well exceeded my expectations despite them often having to repeat themselves in spanish and English (my companion didn’t speak English)

A pousada eh pequena, administrada de perto pelo proprietário, então o clima eh de estar se hospedando na casa de um parente. Sr. Gonzales é muito prestativo. A pousada está localizada em um lugar tranquilo. Fica um pouco distante do centro, mas é possível ir caminhando pela orla. O táxi para o centro é barato, então não chega a ser um problema. Em resumo, nossa experiência foi boa e consideramos um bom custo benefício. A beleza do mar de San Andres é sem igual.

Excellent family-run small posada

We stayed there for two periods of 3 nights, separated by a trip to Providencia, during April. The owner Gonzalo is a really friendly, helpful guy who will help out with local arrangements, e.g. buggy hire, tours, etc. No problem leaving some baggage there when we went to Providencia, there is even a balance for checking bags for the flight check-in allowance of 10 kg! There is a very well equipped communal kitchen and dining area, and also a drying area for clothing. Location is in a nice secure residential area very close to the coast road from El Centro to San Luis, with nearby grocery shops. It's a bit far from El Centro, 15 - 20 minutes walk, but that's not really a problem since there's a bus stop on the coast road just 200 m away (or stop a taxi). Highly recommended!

Nice and safe hotel

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed here for 6 nights and had a clean room with comfortable beds. The big plus is the owner Gonzalo who where very nice to us and gave us ride into town and the airport without charging us anything. He helped us when we had troubles after we had lost our bag and he made us feel very welcomed! I really recommend this small cute hotel!

Pousada bem simples, porem muito aconchegante. O dono da pousada, Gonzales, muito prestativo, conhece tudo na ilha, tem os contatos mais baratos dos passeios turísticos, deixa muito a vontade. Unico problema é que não tem agua quente no chuveiro, mas isso parece ser um problema de toda a ilha. Mas de resto, a pousada tem um excelente custo-beneficio.

Pousada situada a 10 minutos do centro da cidade andando (2 minutos de mototaxi/taxi). Possui o suficiente para uma estadia se voce tem interesse em explorar a ilha. O dono é extremamente amigavel e resolveu todos os passeios que fiz. Ficaria novamente

La ubicación no te permite disfrutar en la noche de la calidad ciudad, a sus alrededores no tiene donde comer. su dueña normal en la atención pero esperaba mas, me retire al otro día del hotel y busque un hotel mas central, teniendo que pagar la totalidad del alojamiento sin utilizarlo. es un hotel para personas que poco deseen disfrutar de la vida nocturna.

Excelente lugar para hospedarse, si bien queda a 15 minutos a pie del centro y de las playas, el lugar es muy grato. Es limpio, cambiaban sábanas cada 2 o 3 días. Los dueños, Clara y Gonzalo, son muy atentos y muy serviciales, nada que decir, todo muy bueno.

Wonderful service

We had a very nice stay in the posada. It's farther away from the beach and the centre than we expected but the people running it are lovely. They can help with arranging all the local trips and rent motorbikes.
