「The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

「The "issue" with such a welcoming home is that you have to chose between staying in the hamoc, or lying in a comfy chair and visiting the external beauties of Sicilia! Lucia's home is a perfect stay for people visiting the area: 25min from the Villa, 45min from the Valle dei templi, many beautiful views of the surrounding nature... The house is well equipped and furnished, and so lovely to stay in. Thank you again for the warm welcome and all the details, Lucia!」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was a great location, close to the lovely community of Caltavuturo. The host provided very useful recommendations about the property, dining, shopping and other activities. The shops in town were great, including the butcher, the bakery and the pasticceria, not to mention the chef and team at AlterEgo restaurant. The villa was well appointed, it offered a number of areas within and outside the property to relax and enjoy the views and experience....

「Highlight of my Sicily travels. A great place to chill. An hour’s drive from many sites. Pool to cool down. Wonderful outdoor space. Giorgio was friendly and helpful. Took some determination to find it but so glad I did. Would appreciate a larger espresso pot- such a small problem in an almost perfect world.」

「The apartment was modern, large and very well equipped. Angelo and his family were very gracious and always available to help. They even brought over some of the best pastries I have ever tasted! I can't say enough nice things about my stay, except I forgot to mention the views of the valley and the Mediterranean Sea were fabulous.」

「Nous sommes partis pour 2 semaines de vacances en famille et entre amis. Les chambres sont bien agencées, la piscine superbe comme la terrasse et la cuisine . 「We had a wonderful three-night stay in the countryside. The villa itself is beautiful and filled with elegant furnishings. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the surrounding hills from the large terrace. The breakfasts were outstanding and featured freshly baked bread, cake, and traditional Sicilian sandwiches, cheeses, meats, and pastries. We enjoyed walking through the olive tree groves and seeing the various farm animals up close (especially Orazio the donkey)....
