} The room was disappointing. The carpet was very dirty, and the photos online do not reflect the current condition of the room. The coffee maker was dirty, so I couldn’t use it. I asked the front desk for a clean one or a kettle, but they said they didn’t have one available. There was also a large crack in the bathroom ceiling above the bathtub, and the drapes were dirty as well. The reception area and the outside of the building looked fine, but the room itself was not properly maintained.

The staff was very helpful, nice beyond comfort in attentiveness. Overall it holds its name as the comfort of all suites. If you need a place to rest, with affordability, the king suite is by far the best, with a spa, and bed that’s hard to compete.

Staff was standoff-ish. Did not talk much or at all, guy who checked me in kept my credit card for a long time. And made a rather weird and suspicious "call to his manager" in which he whispered in a different language for. while he left my creditcard number facing up in pefect sight of the camera behind the counter, so i wont be surprised if i see some suspicious charges pop up soon. Property was old, outdated and poorly maintained, no usable outlets by the bed, I would highly advise against staying here.

Toilets clogged, sinks clog, pillows are worn out, nobody comes in and switches sheets out after 3 days, all around terrible place to be. WiFi is also horrible. Would not recommend this to anyone. Never coming back here again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The bed was pretty comfortable, the spa tub was awesome and you can watch TV in the living room from the tub. We had a third floor balcony room overlooking the pool with a peek-a-boo ocean view. Great value for the price! The freeway was a bit noisy when standing on the balcony but with the slider and windows closed it was well insulated and you couldn't hear the freeway. Would love to have a couple chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy our coffee. Hopefully they will do that in the future. We will absolutely be back. We very much enjoyed our stay. Only 2 miles from the San Clemente pier and restaurants.

No hot water and low water pressure. Had to change rooms because our door wouldn’t close and then the new rooms toilet wouldn’t flush. The best thing about this hotel is the cold lemon water in the lobby.

Room looked dirty and the sliding door to the balcony didn’t close. Staff didn’t help at all. We had to fix the door so we could close it. Sink was not functioning and the breakfast was awful. Horrible experience ever. No other choices available.

The room was fine and the breakfast was marginal—eggs and sausage were microwaved. There was just something that was off. I was later told by a local that they wouldn’t stay here with their family. It’s not a family friendly area next to this Carl’s Jr. I had no idea what goes on next door. This definitely explained my uneasy feeling. If you have kids, I’d stay somewhere else.
