Had a great stay with our family. Beautiful views and the sound of the ocean, close to so many things. The condo was nice, had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Would stay again.

The beach front location and walking distance to the boardwalk and restaurants was perfect four our family. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Great space and we will definitely stay there again!

Location and view can't be beat!

Gorgeous views of the beach, especially at sunset. Easily walkable to restaurants and bars. Beds/pillows were comfortable and plentiful! No noise from other units, only the sound of the beach and occasionally, the boardwalk below.

Beautiful Condo by the ocean

The moment we walked into this condo we were blown away by the view. Stunning. The decor was beachy and the layout perfect. Parking right by the elevator. Shops and Restaurants are in walking distance. We loved everything about it and will be back for sure.

Best view on the beach

I chose this condo because of its location and the spectacular ceiling to floor views of the Pacific Ocean and beach that it provides - and it did not disappoint! The property is in close proximity to a boardwalk like beach path and many good restaurants and eateries. Only a 15 minute drive from downtown San Diego I would highly reccomend this property for your vacation stay.

Blue Grotto

Our family had a wonderful time. The location on the beach was great and the views from our 11 th floor window were spectacular. The condo was very clean and well stocked. The front desk staff was helpful. The rental company was very prompt with any questions that we had. We would highly recommend this property.

Awesome property

We have stayed at Capri by the Sea many times but this place blew us away with its location and how up to date and beautiful it was. We especially liked our master bedroom in which the one wall was all glass with a sliding door that opened up to a sitting area with 2 easy chairs where we could sit and watch the ocean and listen to the waves and smell the sea air. It was pure joy! Can hardly wait to come back again.

Great condo, awesome location.

We enjoyed this unit so much! It was a great size for our family of 5. Good mattresses on the beds. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. We used all the beds and the sofa bed. The views are amazing. So much fun to jog or walk up and down the boardwalk. All the shops and restaurants you could ever need within walking distance, plus a pool. We would stay again!

So much more than we expected

My husband and I had four wonderful days of California Pacific beach bliss. The location of this property is outstanding! Every night we fell asleep to the sound of waves, and every morning we woke up to the sound of waves. The location is key —our morning walks were beautiful and easy walking to restaurants. Thank you!

Vacation

The place was gorgeous. The views were fantastic. I love to hear in the ocean every day and every night. There was so much to do and Pacific Beach and San Diego. The condo is well stocked with towels, Beach chairs, beach towels, supplies and extra linen. Wonderful vacation. The property manager who was accessible and helpful whenever I had an issue. Will be returning next year.

Great Vacation and Great Location

The Blue Grotto was an amazing place to stay! The views were incredible. We were able to catch amazing sunsets and sunrises and stare at the beautiful ocean. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, right off the beach and quick walking access on the boardwalk to stores and restaurants. The condo was very clean and had plenty of towels. The only downsides (which were minimal) was the pool was pretty cold and the washing machines only take quarters but there were no change machines. We had to go to local stores to try and get change. Other than those issues it was perfect! We would stay here again!

Beautiful home base for San Diego vacation

We just spent five nights here and LOVED it! We wanted someplace to relax while we explored San Diego and mentally prepared to head to Disney afterwards - this was the perfect spot. The view cannot be beat - perfect sunsets and views of surfers in the waves all day. Several restaurants in walking distance and an easy drive to the San Diego sights. Extra bonuses: stocked with soap/towels/shampoo/etc, parking in the building's garage, heated pool, easy access to AND supplies for the beach (where the kids swam at even at 59 degrees!). This was a really well-stocked, nicely decorated, and wonderfully located spot and we loved our stay. I wish we had spent more time just lounging and taking in the view; it was hard to leave. Only drawback was the laundry - down the hall, needed quarters to operate, had to wait for other people to be done, and the dryer didn't work so great so we spent the last night with clothes hanging all over the apartment. Other than that, loved it.

Cool breeze in Pacific Beach

Overall our stay was excellent. However there were a couple of suggestion we would have For future renters. The king bed in master is probably ready for replacement. It is very noisey and creaked every time we moved on it. I would also recommend directions on the operation of the remote control's. We are very tech savvy but 2 remotes and 3 channel boxes can be confusing. The screen door track rollers need replacing. They kept jumping off the tracks. We will definitely be repeat renters at this property. For a 7 day stay the number of towels seemed a little light we had 4 adults and 2 children for a total of 6 towels. And lastly a laundry string for bathroom to dry suits and beach towels. Again, fantastic location, well equipped with kitchen utensils and excellent onbience.

The condo is beautiful. It is clean, well furnished, great location, beautiful views, and stocked well with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The management responds immediately with any concerns they let you know whenever they need to come into the apartment to do repairs. The management is extremely respectful. I am definitely returning next year great vacation.

The unit was fantastic. We had to move a few breakables because we had a toddler. Glass table in Living room. Beds were very comfortable. The views were fantastic. All in all, it was a fantastic location and unit.

Heaven On Earth

My wife was literally crying the day we had to leave. Paradise!! Parking directly next to elevator- no other car possible to park next to you and ding your vehicle. Shopping, food, beach, entertainment, everything walking distance. Highly recommend renting bicycles from California Dreams, keep the entire length of your stay, best way to get around, lock them up always. Host provides, 4 beach chairs, nice tent shade, large beach towels, 4 boogie boards, &heated pool! Walking in, you’re treated to a floor to ceiling panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean!! No sand, no people, nothing but majestic ocean! Sleep to sounds of the ocean pouring in. Relax with the birds. Walk to one of three small balconies and soak in the entire action, sights and sounds of the surfers, beach-goers, bikers, joggers, etc. Billion dollar, birds-eye view of every sunset Park at Urban Outfitters,eat at Biggies Burgers & Shakes and walk/shop while waiting for check-in. Also, highly recommend the San Diego Night Trolly Tour on your first night; everyone’s tired anyway from the travel, and this open-window trolly bus was super entertaining and takes you to every hot spot in the city, epic photos. Full chef’s kitchen and ice maker in refrigerator. Keurig coffee machine; (sorry Nespresso) electric kettle, Vons grocery short drive down the road. Safest building with digital key fob necessary for property & again for elevators. Be the hero of your family and rent this paradise, or someone else will!
