Cute place in Belmont that had all of the amenities we needed while work was being done on our house. Location was perfect for us. Yes, there were a lot of stairs, but was fine for us. The upside is that the cottage is really quiet.

Overall 4/5 stars!!Pros: House was perfect for our stay, very comfortable beds and furniture. Kitchen had everything we could need and more! Cons: WiFi was occasionally spotty - only an issue bc my partner and I were working from home during the week. Also, feel the need to note that there are 65 steps to get up to the house and the path is not well lit in parts at night so travel carefully!

-- Huge closets with hangers in both bedrooms - rare abundance of hanging space!-- NORMAL shower - it's becoming increasingly harder to find such a shower - with a curtain or a complete glass door (so I don't have to clean up the flood from those "fancy" showers where a narrow piece of glass allows water to spill on the floor). -- Owners immediately responded to find a solution to a minor issue.-- Quiet and peaceful location.-- Reasonable distance from trails in redwoods.-- It felt warm and welcoming to find all the supplies, condiments, and even some snack.-- Beautiful view from the hill (living room) pretty views of trees from master bedroom. We saw deer multiple times on these streets on the hill while approaching the house. The only potential issue for some people could be climbing stairs from the street to the house with luggage - and be sure to go past the first house - the stairs continue to the actual "tree house".

The house is very comfortable and very clean. It contains everything a traveler needs. We arrived at night and had difficulty to locate the place, as there are other residences on the same lot. The Tree House is at the very top, so requires walking up four flights of stairs (65 steps in all), which we did not realize when we first arrived. But it is unique and a fun place to stay, in a nice area. We saw deer around the property three times during our short stay. Still, stores, restaurants and businesses are conveniently close, many less than a mile away.
