The classic room itself is slightly small, but a lovely big bathroom, and we were hoping for a view but understandably that would be the deluxe room. We used the spa amenities and it was pretty good for the price - recommended after a day or two of walking up and down the steep hills. Overall we will stay again. It was a beautiful hotel with lovely people working there, filled with so much history.」

The exterior and interior have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard and our room was perfect. Yet the main contribution to our stay was the warmth and oustanding service that we received from the whole service team. We loved this hotel; we have travelled all around Europe and feel this is the best we have stayed in.」
