“This resort is in a secluded location, very quiet and safe. The staff were very accommodating. It was difficult to get a hold of them initially to arrange for airport transfer. The numbers provided do not work on WhatsApp or Messenger, difficult with international phones and data only eSIM. I only received one response via email that I found on Facebook asking for flight info. Even then, there was no follow up. I wasn’t sure if we were going to have transport pick us up or not, but there was one……

“Very new hotel. Very clean. Room was basic. Had all you need for a short time. We stayed only 1 night. Would have liked to stay longer if schedule allowed. Very good exercise room. Great swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel staff were wonderful. Really loved this hotel. The only drawback is that it’s a bit off the beaten path. For us that was fine. Massage places in the area offer pickup service. If you've got a car, like we had, it’s fine. Looking for a nice place to……

“We had a nice stay. High standard, and good activities available. A lots of dogs around, but they are friendly and also vaccinated. I guess some people could react to that, but we didnt mind. The food is very good. You will have a pleasent stay here. ”

“the hotel is on a small mountain. there's not much store or place nearby. actually whole banglao island just few big tour spot and this hotel offer the motorbike to rent or they can arrange the traffic for you(will charge) so I thought the traffic is not big issue for us. you can ride motorbike to alona beach about 20mins. And their staff is nice to get with and also offer really nice massage there^^ and the room is really beauty with a balcony. also a hammock out there. it's a nice place……

“Its as beachfront as you could want, without being on a beachfront resort. Only a tiny passage for peeps to walk between u n ocean. End of the rd. Just enough for taxi to drop u off at door. Its a hidden gem. Locals frequent. Far enough away from the busy end of a really nice beach. Water is deeper n cleaner too!”

“I enjoyed a 28-day stay at Catalinas Inn. Although it’s a budget hotel our room was satisfactory. The staff really shone at Catalinas. Our stay was made more enjoyable because of their kindness and friendliness. The food was great and we liked the location. ”
