Lovely cozy home

Our family of 5 stayed for 2 nights. The house was cute and the land was lush and very green. The waterfall that was on the property was definitely a plus. We enjoyed sitting in the seating area by it and having lunch from the soda downstairs which was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful!

This home has everything you need and want! it even has cold AC in the living room / kitchen!! The only downside is rooms are upstairs and must be accessed via outside (so 3 different doors / keys). Thank you for everything and Pura Vida :)

Friends Wedding

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The little Soda/restaurant Las Hermanas Huertas at the bottom of the driveway is incredible. We had a couple small things pop up, however Danny was very responsive and the people at the Soda were very helpful and accommodating. A vehicle with some ground clearance is definitely recommended for the driveway. If we are fortunate enough to travel back to Costa Rica in the future we will definitely stay here again!!!

Hi The bedrooms are exterior and upstairs. NOT children friendly. Kinda old and needs a remodel and refurbishment We did not stay at property as it was not suitable for us.

Favorite CR Stay

We loved staying at the Waterfall Garden House with our four kids for 12 nights. It's a hidden gem! The area is awesome! Cooler weather in the mountains but still only 45 min from the coast, close to awesome waterfalls (Nayauca and Eco Chontales), close to San Rivas/Cloudbridge Nature Reserve, and close to all the conveniences of a bigger city. The property is gorgeous with the waterfall, trees, and landscaping. Danny, the host, has made it comfortable to stay at the house and lounge in a hammock or eat together outside. The home was recently renovated so it looks great, functions well, and is clean. AC works great when needed, showers are warm, and WiFi works great. TVs in each room. I loved having a washroom with a washer AND dryer since things don't dry quickly in the humidity. Fully stocked kitchen with extras, i.e. rice cooker, air fryer, and a salad spinner. The breakfast each morning at the little restaurant (soda) near the entrance to the property just put this stay over the top! The owners were friendly and the food was delicious. They offered us different typical dishes and catered to the likes of our kids. We looked forward to our breakfast visits every morning. Last, but not least, Danny was an amazing host. He was available for questions and responded to our needs quickly, even offering suggestions for our daily activities. He also helped out greatly when we were in a pinch to find a place to stay. Loved everything about our it!!!
