Overall, everything was very good. The place was very clean, well-organized, and comfortable. Breakfast was quite simple, but overall the stay was great value for the price. The staff were very good، professional, polite, and respectful. They were a bit reserved in their manner, but still courteous and helpful. I would recommend this place, especially considering the cleanliness and value.

I absolutely loved everything about this place from the room to the little sitting area right outside my sliding doors, there were two things I wasn’t too pleased about, the dog barking in the middle of the night for over an hour and the smell in the room cause there was no real ventilation. I had to leave the sliding door cracked open to get fresh air circulating in the room, other than that, it’s an absolute beauty! The location is perfect! Had a supermarket at the corner, a small restaurant and fast food such as McDonald and KFC, and Papa John’s.

Luis was an amazing host.. He was very helpful with the area and the bnb itself was perfect. The rooms were very comfortable and the garden area was quite beautiful. We are planning our next trip already.

I liked the way the room was setup and the outdoors. It is walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants.The website states there is parking available and breakfast included but they do not specify that there is a $10 cash fee charge to reserve a parking space and there is only 2 available.Also for breakfast is just bread with jam, and mixed fruits. There is a cute dog around but she is not potty trained so she pees around and the smell is not pleasant. I only stayed for 1 night so it didn't mind.

The bedroom was very clean and attractive. It was perfect and the shower really nice. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. My favorite staff was the greater that showed me love every moment she could and that is Mandy the dog. She's so sweet that I wanted to take her home with me. I absolutely loved spending time on my bedroom balcony that faced the beautiful garden. It was SO peaceful. The only downside was the noice level of other people who stayed there. The walls are thin and the noice traveled. I recommend signs asking patrons to keep it down after 10 pm or to simply have consideration for others when talking, watching TV or closing their doors. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend for others to stay there. Most importantly, it's extremely affordable.

Jungla Urbana far exceeded my expectations! Lois does a wonderful job with keeping the hotel in great order! The rooms look like scale hotel rooms! No AC is needed. Wonderful covered outdoor patio to relax on…. Or even eat the free breakfast on. There is a clean shared kitchen too, well stocked to cook also . Supper close to the American Embassy ! ( walking distance ) I live in Costa Rica and stayed here to have Dental Work in Escazu… glad I made this choice … I would stay here again… for sure!

Very very clean, great staff, location within San Jose is perfect. Downtown Central Market is 10 to 15 minutes by car or UBER. The soccer stadium is 8 minutes away. Restaurants and grocery and shopping is absolutely everywhere but the BnB is 1 block off the main boulevard. The US Embassy is literally 1 to 2 minutes away walking if that far. about the largest modern mall is also close but cannot provide distance. Full kitchen to use on main floor . Great Costa Rica coffee provided. Breakfast is simple with toast, coffee with local jams. Fresh fruit cocktail made daily it appeared. The photos provided at their website is exactly what it is. I will be going back in 2 or 3 weeks actually. I in error left my phone charger when I checked out. The manager sent me a Whatsapp message with photo they have it safe and will keep it until I return. (Costa Rican mail service is NOT usually reliable).
