"This lodge and spa is located in a valley between two mountain ranges at about 5000 feet (compared to Monte Verde 4300 feet) and is considered to be within the range of cloud forest. "At first they asked us if we wanted ground floor, and w said yes and got placed in room 4. It was a total nightmare with a rattling door and a shower with no edges. We asked if we could move, they said yes, and we moved to room 7, which was amazing. Clean, great shower, lots of space, a separate wardrobe, etc. Breakfast simple and fresh, hand cooked for us. Our only complaint was wifi, which only worked in the lobby. Overall a very good place. "
