“The staff was personable and made sure that the room was clean and the linens were fresh. The staff and owner were very helpful with giving suggestion and directions to places to eat and what museums and other places of interests to visit.”

“All good for a cheaper hotel. Pass on the cheapest room and book the studio room. Wifi was in and out but mostly working in the room. Good signal in the lobby.”

“This hotel is a home away from home for us. It is a great location to walk around downtown San Jose and visit the National museum and National theater, shops, and some wonderful restaurants. The hotel has unique rooms and a rich history related to coffee in Costa Rica. The staff is kind and always very helpful. The rooms are always clean, and it is nice to enjoy the breakfast in the morning.”

“The breakfast was a great addition to the morning.”

“The hotel was clean and neat, the staff was very friendly and helpful, it is an old building but well maintained, the food at the bar was good but a bit pricey, the drinks were quite expensive also, free breakfast was included and was pretty good, there was free secured underground parking but not recommended for large vehicles. This hotel/casino is a adults only spot that is guest friendly, I would definitely book this hotel again.”
